Vs Maxpax I wonder how much a single cannon could have gotten you. Cut off one lane of blind approach for him, say at the natural. Did he kill 3 probes? Probably. But if it enables you to completely neutralize his investment in oracles by being in position elsewhere, could be worth it and more

Can i suggest a strategy to try out? What about a mass-contaminate on the opponent's production while exchanging the armies? It might delay the reinforcement so you would have a time gap with a significantly bigger battle limit.

Demanding or pseudo-demanding GG creates a culture of fake GG. That's why I think the attitude of greeting your opponent after competing creates a false feeling that everyone is cool.

Just like saying hello and goodbye to everyone creates a fasle culture... I mean gg isnt really to say the game was particularly sick, its just a way to end the game and say "thank you for the game " in one. Imho poeple like you who dont like gging are in truth just to salty after every loss, and they cant bring themselves to gg, so they create this whole philosophies.

I know maxpacks is great. But you lose so much stuff to oracles and dt that I wonder why it is so hard for you to get a bronze cannon in each base and focus elsewhere. Is amazing how much he baits you to focus on those oracle and you end up losing time and like 300 mineral worth of probes per raid. You need to watch this replay IMO.

Harstem is into tight build orders so prolly doesn't want to sink resources into something he doesn't theoretically need. Maybe blind cannons is worth it in this game but it's easy for us to criticize as viewers. A top protoss pro most likely knows better than KZbin GMs and he won the game...

@@Fimbu1vetr is not criticizing for the sake of it. Is it pointing what at the end he realized so it gets attached to his mind for the future. "Tight" build orders are his motto because he is obssesive? Yes, I know. But there is a "cost fallacy" going in some games like this one where 1 and even up to 3 cannons would have saved him resources like time AND minerals. Max is the better player overall like Harstem said, and in this match it wasn't due to strategy but due to control - he forced Harstem to play his mind games of focusing in his base and not managing the actual army and that's why the game got longer. Now Max needs a better strategy for Harstem (because probably no one else forces him to go for something different) and Harstem needs a better mindset for people that are explicitly better than him at control.

I don't fjuking care where you were going with that story. Once upon a time there is a situation, which I will never forget. Also there is more than a liter of hard alcohol per person involved. I won't get into much details, but I also managed to drive through a space with the car, that on the other day it made no sense. The car is wider than the place it went through, yet on the other day when we went to check for damage, there was none on either the "road", or the care itself. I know it defies physics, yet I still made it through no damage. Cheers mates!
