I hear they allow women in bathhouses now. If I were a gay man, I’d be outraged by that. Everyone should be allowed to have spaces that are for them alone. Women can’t understand what it means to be a gay man, regardless of how she “identifies”, and it’s pretty offensive for them to think that they can.

It's not so cut and dry. Typically there are certain nights where this is allowed, but more and more Trans men are being welcomed into these spaces. Just be careful with your wording... using the "she" pronoun for a Trans man is very offensive, and using quotes around the word "identifies" in the context you used it is signalling that you don't believe that being Trans is a real thing. It may not have been your intention, but that's how it reads.

@@queerlyuspodcast personally, I don’t feel that women can ever truly understand or experience male homosexuality, because we aren’t male. I don’t feel that a bathhouse is a place for women, and I feel that gay men deserve to have their own private, intimate spaces that are for gay men only, and they deserve the safety, dignity, and the sense of camaraderie and community that comes with that. A lot of gay men share this same opinion, and a lot of lesbians are going through the same thing in lesbian/female only spaces. A female human can identify as a man, but there is no way that she will ever understand male-male intimacy. The same is true for males who identify as women. We shouldn’t have to lie or deny the truth in order to be supportive, and sadly, that is exactly what we are expected to do. It’s absolutely mad.
