Hi Feb! I believe Gregor pronounces Heljarchen as “Helyarkin”, but as far as I’m concerned, you can say it any way you want! Love your accent so much 😍

Love this home! When I had that issue with being frozen at the workbench all I had to do was jump... odd it isnt working for you... good video!

Hey Kat, I'm glad you found a solution, for me in both games, there was literally nothing I could do lol. Still, I thought I'd show it anyway as it's still a gorgeous wee home.:)

I figure this is a good community to ask, given the focus on player houses and all: does anyone know of a nice mod for getting an Orcish style home? I'm terribly distracted anytime I go look on the Nexus, so my feeble attempts to find one haven't yielded anything like it so far. Also, PS, I've been binge watching the channel. Feb, you're a very pleasant person. Very fair to the mod authors, and even homes you dislike, you have something good to say and bring up issues with a mod (like this one) without sounding condescending or mean. It's very refreshing.

Thank you very much:) There are a couple of Orc homes but I've not video'd any of them yet: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20836 www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63596

To Work around the workbench-problem Just use the Teleport command. For me it worked to teleport myself with "COC Whiterun" and tried to move. After that you can just travel Back to the hideaway ans activate decoration settings just as nothing has happened.

I know I'm a bit late here, but the solution to your workbench bug is actually quite simple: jump. Jumping immediately restores.your character's mobility. Problem sorted. BTW, thank you for all your wonderful videos. They are deeply appreciated. I also enjoy Jasperthegnome's player homes very much. They're cozy, unique, and tasteful. I can turn on the music box and sit at the fireside reading a book, not something that happens often in Skyrim.

Hi and thanks! I was jumping my little heart out and nada - I also tried a whole bunch of other moves but it wasn't happening. Weird because I had this house in my playthrough before last and had no such issue.
@hotprofj4 жыл бұрын
Well, that's disappointing then. The jump solution had been suggested by Jasperthegnome, and it happily worked in my case. Shame that such a bug had to spoil the fun.

Yeh someone else suggested the cutting your own hand move but that didn't work either, nor tcl or anything - oh well!

My favorite area is the bed with the bookcases above and beside it. Lovely decor overall. Too bad about the bug.

The Best mod that I have ever seen that either had hidaway in it is an x box mod.... shame that I'd love it if was brought to pc

Yes I've seen a couple of X-Box only mods that I'd love to see on PC - I feel the X-Box users pain when something isn't available!

@@FebrithDarkstar think it was hermit's hideaway or something like it..... but yeah console users get the shaft when it comes to mods. Limited space and everything if at all.

really awesome player home mod. its always nice to see how modder create so unique and special details. But on the other side its very sad that all big player homes are on the mainland of skyrim. Why there arnt house mods in the sea of ghosts ? a little island with a house and exterior stuff like pools or something would be great. On the mainland, every player home mod doesn't really feel safe, enemies could overrun your own at any time. The problem would not be on an isolated island. But that's more of a personal thing ^^
@FebrithDarkstar4 жыл бұрын
I get it - there are always the own-world-space homes which overcome that problem - and there are so many nice ones. I can only think of a couple of homes up at the Sea of Ghosts - one is Atmoran Hearth.
@hojionibi80604 жыл бұрын
Atmoran Heart is very awesome but i dont use the Creation club and personally At atmoran Heart there arnt enough good Spots for me. I really like the house mods from "skyrimlazz" like the ayleid stuff. There are so many unique Details at his homes and Lots of pools/showers too. I love emmerion in skyrim^^

So you like mods where you build the place? Have you looked at an older mod, Windstad Mine? It's located at about the same place as this mod.

I loved the mod until I got to the same point as you Feb. I haven't tried console commands but I'm also stuck. It's unfortunate as it's a very cozy looking home.

I tried the cuthand command which someone suggesed in the bug section of the mod and that worked perfectly - but then sank me into the floor and I couldn't get out of it lol - and still couldn't save my game/call/extricate myself in anyway booo!

Sometimes it's very odd to see you showcasing a home that actually rings a bell..... Thinking, thinking. Yes, I've seen that on the other channel! - The guy showcases those that are available on Xbox... Forget PS4 guys, sorry to say that. I don't want to say "go there, leave this channel", it's just good to have one who can point to those that are available for us "lazy kids playing on Xbox" 😉 and, more importantly, to watch different channels on this topic. It gives you different perspectives in my opinion. How many times, did you point out that a home has a more masculine feel to it and what you like etc. In my opinion these showcase channels/videos are important because they can show mod authors the different viewpoints of people. To get a women's point of view on your channel is super important because it A) shows that women are playing these games (just ask my sister or Shirley Curry, the over 80 years old woman who loves playing this - that elderly people are a potential gamer group is another topic) and B) that games don't need and should not akways attract just your usual gamers. Swap out Male Shepard on the cover to Femshep and you get a different clientele that buys games. Give it also a female touch or at least the possibility to have that viewpoint, hire women to co-design games. I could go on probably forever... Btw. I love that bed-alcove with the bookshelves above it.

Lol don't worry Robert, there's plenty of room for everyone's point of view:)
