You're right, Feb. Dawnstar - true not much to do there. But a nice home, and I loved that the mannequins were locked up behind glass. Now I can sleep at night when I go in to rest after adventuring. And the Lake View is a sumptuous home with fantastic features in that place that would be great in the modern world log cabin setting. Another great Vid, thanks sharing it!

These mods bring the "play" into playing Skyrim. At the start of this playthrough I found myself chopping wood for LC's Noble House. I had almost no gold and had to stop occasionally to fight bears and bandits. The build needs lots of firewood and I set the camera so I could see Inigo watching, bobbing his head each time the ax came down. LOL Thanks for introducing me to this wonderful world!

I can certainly see why you you like these homes, dear Feb. I too have the pool add on for all three hearthfire homes. The Lakeview pool has such a lovely view of the lake and the grand rear entrance to Staadomaar Temple added by Helgen Reborn. On a clear day I can even see Asteria in the distance. Can you see Tel Nalta from there? I haven't had the best of luck with build your own home mods. Yet, after seeing your lovely video on Morskom Estate I think it's time to give it another go and try that home. It's taken me quite a while to warm to the idea again after a rather poor 2nd and 3rd play with Blackthorn Buildable Town in the Rift. My initial play of that mod was promising and enjoyable. Yet, subsequent attempts were plagued by bugs and glitches and I ultimately uninstalled the mod. I am also considering the Lakeview Manor As It Should Be mod for a future play as well. It has several features that I could live without. But, overall it's rather impressive and certainly feels like home. The palm trees must go though. XD Palm trees in Elsweyr, sure, but not in Falkreath, ever. LOL I hope you got my note that the final version of BocaJeff's Island has officially published now. He had planned for later in the week but when I requested an advance copy he simply published it. He really is amazing. I hope to be able to share more about his next home soon. He's already planning it out. I shared my ideas for a Dwemer keep style home on the cliff just west of Reachwind Eyrie. He has since gone out the the location, did some scouting and said the ideas just started to flow. So, I'm curious to see what he will do there. Thank you sincerely for all the lovely and entertaining video sweet Feb :) Adventure on, Phat
@FebrithDarkstar4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can see Tel Nalta from the Lakeview pool extension - and even Dovahkiin's Island Retreat also:) They are off to the left obscured by a few trees but still viewable. Looking forward to what BocaJeff does next ofc:)

Feb, I have a confession. I’m loathe to admit it. *whispers* I don’t like “build your own” homes. All of the material collecting is so tedious! Orinlinwe has a cheat chest for all of his, which I happily use. I howled the first time I built Hermit Mountain Cottage and saw that he named the chest “cheat chest for cheating cheaters.” I could practically hear the “Shame” bell. Lakeview Manor as it Should Be is such a stunner, so much so that I might be willing to either collect or console command the materials this play through. If I do, expect a version with no palm trees and running water in your inbox, haha.
@FebrithDarkstar4 жыл бұрын
Omg the horror lol at not liking BYOs - I get it though, I know it's a royal pain if there's no cheat chest or you really wanna do it proper-like. Tel Nalta is the worst - mushrooms zomg!

His face goes with your drapes, does it? LOL I love Fellburg. I am an adopter (I do the full 6 kids thanks to the Multiple Adoptions mod) and Fellburg has beds for each and every one of my little rug rats. Woohoo! You're right that it is definitely a job to build, gathering the needed supplies. So I admit I cheat a bit and use a cheat mod that adds a spell to conjure crafting materials specifically for when I play with mods like this one.
@FebrithDarkstar4 жыл бұрын
Oh I totally get it, the last time I built it I definitely conjured my materials lol!

@@FebrithDarkstar and even with standing there making them appear magically in your inventory its still quite a task. "Hmmm, I need 50 quarry stones, 80 clay bricks, 100 firewood logs, 30 iron fittings, 18 nails, 60 pieces of straw..." Doing that for each set of materials and then all over again for each particular build project is still very time consuming! BUT it does make the very worthwhile end reward feel very much like you earned it yourself, and watching the village slowly pop up around you is a lot of fun.

Well Oldrim has left for good, so the Riverside Lodge Redux completly goes out the window for me and in its place in SE is my beloved Peregrine Highwatch HFX, but apart from Tel Nalta, which i never got warm with, the other 3 were already in my loadorder...for good reason as one can see here. ;) Thx Feb as always, nice vid. :) Im just working on restoring good old Castle Gonduin Expanded, one of the few castles i really like, as it gets filled with some life, sits in a nice and reasonable spot in the gameworld and so on.
