Well thanks for the 3 different reviews. You seem so young to be advising about devices mainly used by seniors, but we all will get to that age level.

@@KatakagaraWell DUH! You think a Life Alert shill is not going to try to sound like a customer?? When a company tries to maintain its hold on a market, they're going to try to quell any alternatives to their service or product. That includes putting out glowing reviews from "customers" who are really company reps and manipulating their SEO results. It happens all the time, from fake Amazon reviews to aftermarket car repair insurance. You think Life Alert is any different? You're either naive or a shill yourself.

How are they equally reliable when life alerts battery last 7 to 10 years? Lire Alert is second to none and that's why I chose it and that's why I post so that people especially older people will not choose a system that will not work for them. Any system that does not have a battery that lasts 7 to 10 years is not worth purchasing at any cost

@@sonyat4813 as bad luck would always have it. What is your life worth. We spend more time on cable, cell phones and any other thing but our safety. If you call 911 and you can't talk they don't know where you're at? Why not cut your cost and get a reliable system with endorsement galore from industry specific companies, no other companies have them. We all know we get what we pay for. We have lived long enough. Pushing a button and not having it work or getting put on hold when you may have a life threatening occurrence is unacceptable. I also know that competitors are making comments on Yelp and other venues that aren't true. Life alert wouldn't have all the endorsements if those comments were true. Buyer beware, that's all I've got to say..

Very nice video, Ryan. Looking into these systems for a parent and I have been worried about false alarms. With a big house and yard, it is very possible that a button could get pushed but the base station cannot be heard (for example, when the person is in a basement or outside in the yard). In those situations, if the person is not carrying a cell phone, the phone call from the company would be missed and 911 would be called. Bad. Do any companies offer multiple speakers for each floor in the house? Another issue is whether the button could easily be pressed on accident, such as when the person is sleeping. I can't tell from the reviews if this is the case or not. Finally, the issue of charging the "button". When the button is in the charger, it isn't being worn by the person. But the companies with buttons that last for years (eg Bay Alarm Medical) don't have a light that indicates if the button has been pushed (since that uses battery) so if you are out in the yard you can't tell if you accidentally pushed the button. I would appreciate this if you could address these issues on your website....

While a non senior would scoff at the price of Life Alert, the cost of a legal (and sometimes illegal) rest home is about $8,000 a month and no insurance to cover the cost.

The active medical guardian is too big. The active Life Alert systems is small and the pendant that goes around your neck is tiny and they aren't big and bulky like the competitors or they other ones blink with a read light and old folks can't sleep due to the bulkiness or the blinking lights. Life alert has thought about everything and that's why they've been around since 1987. You can buy a good pair of shoes that will last you or a cheap pair that will be thrown in the garage before the year is up. What is your life worth.

Hi Edie! We definitely agree that Life Alert is a trustworthy company, and their systems work well. However, their three-year contract is binding. We delve into the language of their term agreements in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYPcZIOXqsxlntk

This is false advertising and Life alert attorney should be contacting you because the Life alert system at a press of a button contacts anybody on the medical alert list by simply pushing our pendant button on the mobile device. Which has a battery that last 7 to 10 years and you don't have to charge it at all for years and the reason I chose this for my parents is because my mother and father forget to charge their own cell phones all the time so the pendant and the mobile device with Life alert you don't have to charge it for and up to 10 years so it's a lot more reliable. What good is a Life alert system if older people forget to charge their devices. So if they're not charged they're not protected in any way shape or form. Remember everyone, You get what you pay for! We spend more on Starbucks coffee per month, on our cell phones and on cable TV, it's time that we prioritize for the safety of our loved ones. Older people need to consider getting rid of their cell phones because if they need help and fall and your loved ones are in danger, lost, or they fall or a stranger is following them...at a push of a button help will be on there way because the Life Alert systems have a GPS pendants that doesn't have to be charged for 7 to 10 years...how cool and reliable is that.

I THINK WHOEVER WANTS TO GO TO WAR EITHER NEGOTIATE OR WE SHOULD GEAR THEM UP WITH GUNS, MACHETE'S AND LET THEM HAVE SN OLD FASHIONED DUO AND WE SHOULD SELL TICKET'S IN A BIG STADIUM AND WATCH THEM FIGHT, I bet that will bring them to the negotiating table. STOP ALL WARS AND STOP SENDING OUR YOUNG PEOPLE TO THESE SENSELESS WARS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. LAST BUT NOT LEAST WE NEED TO PUT ALL OF THE ABOVE CRIMINALS IN PRISON FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND PUT FAUCI AND BILL GATES IN PRISON FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY FOR CREATING THE VIRUS FOR PROFIT. FAUCI BEEN DOING THIS FOR A LONG TIME. HE CREATED AIDS AND CREATED AZT TREATMENT WHICH WAS WHAT WAS KILLING THE PEOPLE JUST LIKE THE RONA TREATMENT, HES UP TO HIS OLD DIABOLICAL MONEY MAKING EVIL TRICKS AGAIN. THE AZT WAS KILLING THE PEOPLE AND NOT AIDS...STOP THESE REAL CRIMINALS AND MAKE THEM PAY OR THEY WILL KEEP VICTIMIZING US ALL. THESE ARE ALL DELUSIONS THAT THE BIBLE IS TALKING ABOUT. IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S NATURAL DISASTERS AND DISEASE BUT IT IS ALL MAN MADE.. EVERYTHING IS. THE ILLNESSES ARE MAN MADE, OUR INFLATED FOOD PRICES, THE INFLATED GAS PRICES, OUR HIGH TAXES ARE ALL INFLATED BY MAN ON PURPOSE AS A FORM OF CONTROL AND ITS HOW THE MAKE MONEY ON US. Well it's been 10 months and the video is still up. Guess your attorneys couldn't find anything that was "false advertising". Seniors on fixed incomes don't do Starbucks and you guys' cookie cutter response of "depends on how much you value your life" is implying that there is no other game in town that can do the job just as well. Seniors on fixed incomes can't afford your service and there are other fish in the sea that taste just as good and are a LOT cheaper. How much do you value the life of seniors that can't afford your service? Do you give discounts to those on fixed incomes so they can afford your service? Of course not!!
