Hey Geoff. Love your videos. Back in 1981 I think, my fiancee and I drove the Crown Range from Wanaka to Queenstown. It had been raining all night and was still pretty uninviting the next morning. In those days it was still unsealed. A local coming the other way stopped us and said if we take it easy we should be OK so we pressed on. Great drive but the highlight was seeing the Mt Cook Airlines HS 748 flying to Queenstown below the cloud in the valley below us!! A memory that will stay with me forever!

Great Video, Geoff, as I'm sure i mentioned in the first video, this is an area i am familiar with albeit a long time ago! I do remember very clearly being involved with a SAR exercise on Mt Olympus, much more i don't remember! Just a comment the cruiser doesn't sound healthy, if it was a petrol I would call it a tappet noise! I am assuming it's a diesel Thanks for sharing
