Having the knock up interrupt abilities and such is good. It should stun for a brief moment , to half of the knockup at max, being generous. I want to realize while knocked up that i can blink behind the enemy and counter-ult if it wins us a fangtooth. Knock ups need to create openings but they also need to have outplayability. Say i’m Rampage holding a rock, and i get knocked up by a bomb. I should drop the rock, but still be able to jump back into your face.

A bit of a shit take on that Howitzer ult complaint. A shit-ton of heroes heroes across various MOBAs have mages/mids that have a single-target nuke. You can't melee him for a few seconds, and no, it's not 10s, not even close. You can't melee Gideon during his ult, too. "It doesn't feel good" isn't a good meter stick, it sucks to be on the receiving end of most abilities.

which isn’t even true heroes like narbash and dekker can stop an ult at range and it’s one of their basic abilities. Does it take skill to land ? Yes but that’s part of the game.

I agree, howis ult works right now. Its more or less single target and most howis wont go for gold ring, so they can be stunned by rampage, narb and dekker + a steel can just drop his shield in fron of the carries. You also can just dash behind cover with characters that have mobility. nothing broken and can be easily countered by the right team comp.

Complains about how difficult it would be for Gideon to deal with Howie's ult while Gideon's ult has a massive vertical range (high enough that Howie can't safely fly over it with his own) and higher damage output in an AoE format.

I think maybe Howie could channel his ult for half a second, then launch like normal. Allows ground stuns to react plus adds time for people to get away, and limits his escape potential with it. Him staying grounded would be really lane though

You're suppposed to juke Howie's ult. It's not different from a slow high damaging skillshot in that regard. Only difference is that you're likely to do some damage with Howie's ult as opposed to missing it outright. I don't see the issue. If you make an ult a skillshot, as in you can whiff it, then it should be rewarded with higher damage. You can say Howie is immune while in the air, you could also say it allows the enemy team to collapse on him without a hope of escaping. Belica's ult is high damage and ensured to hit, it comes out fast. What is the counter play to her ult? It's an execution so it's different? Howie's Ult can also be used that way. You can use Howie's Ult to initiate, but then you run the risk of landing next to the bruiser or Adc, or into a stun. To be fair, it might just be me who is biased since I prefer the Dota way of doing Moba balancing. The only thing I will grant is that Howie's Ult could easily have twice it's current CD.

Hi I don’t play Belica at all, but my intuition tells me that at lvl 11, you should get lvl 2 ult and instead level up q to get the q max as fast as possible, the get lvl 2 ult. Am I wrong?

I think if you don’t have knock up or knock backs stun then players would be able to cancel the ability with either their flash or any blink they may have.

@@PinzoDunzo That's not outplay, thats punishing someone for hitting their cc. Like, imagine hitting 2 or 3 people with a steel ult just for all of them to blink to tower while still in the air. you would be rewarding poor awareness/positioning and punishing someone landing an ability.

To be fair, most abilities are unusable while in the air... Like Countess cannot use her Wave ability while jumping / in the air. So maybe the issue isn't as much "you are stunned in the air" and just that you cannot use certain abilities while in the air?

I agree so much about the autos feeling too fast, it's pretty frustrating to juke like a god and still get hit by 90% of autos because your jukes are almost useless. Smite jukes were so smooth

Yup, that’s the one thing I’m having trouble adjusting to as well. Wonky as smite is, auto attacks and dodging/juking them felt so fluid. I have an opportunity to take advantage of a potential missed auto, here it feels like it hardly matters ; melee or ranged. Is the solution more character slow down when they auto?

I think Howie should stay in the air during his ultimate, maybe just lower the altitude so knockups cant hit him, maybe then he'd be more balanced.

@@THUND3RzEdits nah old Howie ult is stale af imo. It seems so underwhelming in OP and glad Pred switched it up. Imo what they need to do is just lower how fast you can move his rocket laser guidance like you can with Vel Koz ult in league. Turning and aiming the super Lazer isnt some pinpoint skillshot that can nuke from distance and needs a little finesse.

idk man I feel like all the abilities in pred feel pretty good. I don't really understand what trouble you're having with howi , yeah his ult is decent but it really isn't broken. his mobility and cc is what makes him good. kinda just sounds like you don't like playing against howi... i mean you cant interact with how as you say but in that same light you can't interact with a lot of the fighters for the same amount of time with how much CC they have so.... I play howitzer probably more than any other and i've been killed in my ult plenty of times, sure some of the melee characters can't do much while i'm ALREADY in the air but the animation of howi starting his ult and actually getting off the ground leaves enough time to get a stun or pull in to counter it . can't really find much logic in what you say about howitzers ult.....

Taking away stuns from nockups removes a lot of the benefit from tenacity. If your talking about nockups not stunning that includes the character that your playing in the video that would make some of the plays that can be made by the character not work anymore. Also comparing this moba to overwatch and smite doesn't really make much sense if anything comparing it to paragon would be better. I'm pretty sure that if you go directly under howi while he's in his ult he can't hit you as easily. The devs made them stun because that's what they wanted. Complaining about its fine but suggesting them to change it would create more work for them and change a lot of the systems already put in place. Take riktor ult for example they made it a suppression instead of a stun so tenacity the in game Stat that lowers stun duration wouldn't work. So if you got caught in his ult you'd be stuck until it's over.

Belica is fun to play and her combos feel good to use. But i think with countess right now in the game she isnt as strong anymore, when the enemy countess has a bit of health and liefesteal in her build. I feel like belica should be a good counter rn but its the opposite.

@@PinzoDunzo im on par with you in this one. Belica is basicly a counter to ranged hard engage mids, which are none at this point except for Gideon. I have no idea what they should do with her, maybe implement a small silence into Belicas bomb or knock up.

@@Siisjoonperkele they’re gonna need to rework her drone, in theory it sounds like a good ability but it does nothing for Belica in the early game, effectively giving her two damage spells to compete with the other mages. Maybe they can make it a skillshot that will have a drone hover over an enemy like Gadget? Make it have initial hit damage and if they cast any spells while it’s active, they’ll take more.

@@MidnightExcella I always level the drone 2nd for this reason. The drone is annoying to face, you either waste time killing it as opposed to hitting wave, or let it suck your mana. This almost directly leads to me having wave pressure 9/10 because void drone comes back so fast, and ive essentially cost the other laner an ability or two. So long as I can secure river buffs, i will always outlast my enemy laner. Plus, it allows her ult to do more damage. Otherwise, she would need a different interaction for it.

Maybe Howie ult could be movement speed and shooting rockets maybe a little slower then now. He can float on his foot boost for a animation change
