You can actually just leave defense running overnight or something and the stars you get and the apples that DO hit your shield will rank you up quite a bit. I definitely used that lol

It is in the same universe as rogue soul. One of the upgrades for the training room puts a piece of paper in the room. If you click on that piece of paper, you see it's a letter from the rogue from rogue soul, asking you what the heck you have done to his loot chamber.

I'm really glad you found this game. I've played it through several times and I'm loving being able to hear somebody else talk about how much they enjoyed it the same way I did. I've always thought that this was the future of Idle type games could be. It has more hands on involvement but the overall point of the game is more or less the same - bigger numbers. I've been waiting on the release of the sequel ever since I finished playing the first one back at the end of 2016. Hopefully it has more mini games for training, more spells and abilities and just....more! Thanks for making this and keep doing what you do!

Epic battle Fantasy is my favorite game on Kongregate when i was in middle and highschool I would go on there alot but the Epix battle fantasy games felt like games i would go to the store to buy.(which I did buy on steam)

I played Swords and Souls in Armor Games. The most hardest achievement is probably getting all gold achievement in Training. It's also high rated just like this. Now I understand why. And to tell you the truth. I don't regret it.

I always go back to this game every one in a while and get reasonably far then i forget about it for months and repeat. I've never actually beaten the game or really gotten super far. I'm going to go get reasonably far again then forget about it again now.

Honestly from what i see this is a game that is an amazing free to play time killer that a lot of companies are trying to change in to life service. I mean imagine this game having a lot more grind caused by ten times smaller rewards for fight and in experience for training only to be replaced by micro transactions and four leaf clovers being tokens you buy to open loot boxes. For me this game is an example of every life service game for last few years without any micro transactions in them.

Oh man i forgot about this game, played it a couple years ago! Got all the gold medals and was about level 300 and on wave 100 something by the end of it. Good game :) I HIGHLY recommend everyone to check this out.

when i replayed the game i exclusively leveled up critical until it got maxed out because that was the one minigame that just felt like it was a cut out mechanic from the base game.

The thing to me about Kong games is that most of the top-rated ones of all time are very old, and it makes sense because when there were very few Flash games on that site, those ones were clearly superior to a lot of the super amateurish entries at the time (which also prompted people to vote in a more binary 1/5 or 5/5 way), and then they generate tons of momentum and attention as a result. But the nature of the site doesn't really make it possible for newer, superior games to catch up unless they are so, so popular. So you find some very weird picks at the top that haven't necessarily aged that well, and then some very new ones in the 3.x category which seem like such amazing games but with a fraction of the attention.

Having slow internet at my place, flash games are also my guilty pleasure. One game I really like is Caravaneer and Caravaneer 2.A turn-based trading rpg sorta like fallout. Its really fun! You should try it.

The skill potions are super useful for getting your cooldowns up fast (to refresh your stun and heal mostly). I almost always end up using one near the boss, since by then, I've cycled my cooldowns in such a way that I have no skills up =P. The strength potion I use with my 'ultimate' on the boss to max that burst of damage. I only ever really use the lightning spell, since that kit seems to be a lot about stun and delay - That's the only scroll I've ever run low on. I found some of the mini-game quests somewhat punishingly difficult, especially the higher level perfect challenge combos, which on some of them can also get super RNG based - basically will you get the star spawns before your combo gets too high.
