Willie’s version of the song of outlaws going to other planets… imho.. or; their outlaw spirits live for the moment and move on to other adventures or quietly find a hideout with their reckless woman, silver stallion and retire as old folks.

RIP Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings I’m not even that big of a country music fan but these four highwaymen sure are great musicians and I love listening to their music. No matter what music community you may come from, there is absolutely NO denying that Cash, Nelson, Kristofferson, and Jennings were (and still are) legends that live on and will live on! They were in deed a unique form of country music, even in the realm of their sub-genre known as “outlaw country.”

A band comprised of best buds. To be a fly on the wall of those hangouts. 👽🚀I love the way they use the different age brackets to tell a story in the song hiwayman.🤠 It shows a progression of a character. 👻💀 👴🏻🧔🏻👨🏻

I saw them in 1995 in Melbourne Australia. As a country girl of age 24 then. Always loved good music. Boy did Chris look gorgeous! !!! And Johnny Cash amazing. Willie a sweetheart. Who l happen to see leaving the concert from a distance/getting into a taxi. I yelled out his name and waved and he smiled back. That made my day! I saw Madonna two yrs prior. She wasn't anything compared to these REAL muscians Live!!😀

“KNOWING this was filmed where “The High Chaparral”, “Joe Kidd”, “Rio Lobo”, “Rio Bravo” and many of my favorite Westerns were filmed, it’s DESTINY to see where I was raised and visited many times - Old Tucson.” To see the same backroads on a motorcycle as the couple who ride away … WOW! ~ I post this from a High rise Apartment, 2 blocks from Time Square. ~

There's something quite unique about this song which touches the heart with overwhelming feelings of patriotism, loss, hurt, sorrow, victory, overcoming, love, nostalga, all rolled into one. These men have so much character in their voices, eyes and expressions, they are a great band. I hope to these men in God's imminent coming Kingdom! I hope Glen Campbell & Charlie Pride will be there to. Looking forward to seeing Charlie Pride in concert here in QLD Australia in April 2019, love old Charlie. God bless from an aussie fan.
