We watched The Hill yesterday and it was excellent. People were sobbing during the screening. I'm sure that word of mouth will spread. It was touching on many levels. I think it's going to do well.

As a person who has an apostle as a father. I understand Ricky's pain in every way. Trust me, so I understood why they kept bringing up Ricky's father's dislike for his choice or path in life. Because when your father is a preacher/ pastor, everything is about God and nothing is about yourself, so they're willing to starve.Everyone in their devotion and I don't mean by food or nutrition wise But they will starve you from attention, experiences and affection. it's a very deep rooted and monumental problem in the ols school church.😅

Best "Christian" films I've seen (both in theaters): 1)Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie. It's fun, has catchy songs, and contains the important messages about Compassion and Mercy. Basically a pretty good animated movie that happens to use a story from the Bible (like all of VeggieTales in its heyday) 2)The Nativity Story: A very well-done movie. It simply tells the story of Jesus' birth within its historical context. I know some folks who do not consider themselves Christians who still like this movie simply because it tells a good story.
