Q. 2 Plz Review sir Introduction - Economic Growth happens mainly becz of the factors of production - land, natural resources, labor and capital. Sustainable Economic Growth manages these factors in such a way that it does not effect future generation. Hence, wages that are paid to main factors of production - Labor plays v. Imp role in Sustainable Economic Growth. The economic slow down which is seen from many months is due to low demand or less money in the hands of people. - The GDP growth fell to 4.5 percent in the SQ of the year - 2019-20 - GDP growth in Q2 of 2018-19 was 7.1 percent. India's economic growth has taken a hit due to no of factors - Slowdown in Investment and export. But the key factor is lack of money to produce goods and demand in market. However, Govt has taken few measures - 1. Slashing lending rates 2. Exemptions of start up from angel tax 3. Cut in corporate tax etc But there is a need to bring measures at unorganised level. MAGNRGA is one such initiative which provides livelihood for poor people at rural level. - MGNREGA daily wages are to be indexed with an updated index (CPI - R) and to meet income inequality. Conclusion - Sustainable economic growth cannot happen without addressing the need of people at low level. Hence, In the 150th year of Gandhiji, his talisman, "Last person first" is the need of the hour.

Ans-2 Low wages and income inequality have led to fall in demand which lead unsustainable economic growth. Historically for unsustainable economic growth there are two main reason for this I.e regional disparity and regional differences. Regional disparity means lacking in attainment of development goals where as regional differences arises due to difference in availability of resources. But fall in demand occur in case of economic slowdown and inflation( fall in purchasing power of money) which lead low wages and income inequality ,rise in prices of commodities and basic essential goods and less private sector investment etc. For sustainable economic growth government as well as pvt sector play an important role that increase incentive for investment and which also help in reducing regional disparity because it go hand in hand. 1- By increasing government investment which give money in market. 2- RBI buying and selling of securities through open market operation in order to reduce cost of borrowing- Operation twist. 3- Reduction in corporate taxes to increase more and more investment. 4- Implementation of various scheme to cover marginal section in order to increase there income such as PM laghu vaypari yojana.

I strongly disagree with the trio of CAA,NPR & NRC. But I have seen that the reason that only those 3 countries are chosen is that all the 3 are theocratic states having Islam as their state religion and that all the other neighbors of India are secular states. Mains que ( low wages... economic growth) Increasing inequality & slow pace of employment makes working class living condition dismal. According to recent report of international labour organisation the rate of growth of wages in 2017 has been the lowest since 2008. Also the gender wage gap was 34.5%. The growth of 5.5% of real wages according to global rate of growth of wages doesn't reveal the level of wages for most jobs in our nation. The wages of our country are regulatory wages enough for meeting roti kapda makan demands rather than the market clearing wages as that of developed countries that is beneficial for economic growth of a nation. Level of wages in unorganised sector is also very low & workers show a very little bargaining power. Eg of this is labour sector where payment of wages is done by contractor who acts as boss and the labourers gets variable & unsatisfactory wages w.r.t place & type of work. Improper demand & supply ratio , improper income & cost ratio , lack of skills in community ( education being the culprit!) , low living std. & basic luxury are the affecting factors of low wages and inequal income pattern affecting the sustainable economic growth of our country. The lack of capital source, abundant labour & less production are the other factors affecting it! Unemployment rate is 3.46 which means about 45.67 million people out of 132 crore population of our country is unemployed which adds to economic collapse!
