Well, prior to 2016 RBI didn't had complete autonomy on monetary policy. It had to discuss with the government and only after approval, rates were released. Monetary Policy Committee, created in 2016, brought more transparency and accountability in fixing India's Monetary Policy. The Finance minister gets to know whats the change in monetary policy along with general people; isn't it big in terms of autonomy? moreover, even if you go by voting pattern remember RBI governor has casting vote in case of tie. Don't forget the section 7 of RBI Act,1934. ha ha.☘

19:35 caste system is a part and parcel of Hinduism. Many “Dalits” converted their religion. Once they are out of Hinduism, why are people calling them Dalits?( Eg-Dalit Christian, Buddhis etc) To still oppress them? Reservation is to aid the socially disabled. Considering them socially disabled would not wash the inferiority completely away. And at the same time, one can oppress then because their self esteem is lowered due to a thought that they are disabled and need external aid. If we go by an argument that discrimination still exists, then better, the fault isn’t of Hinduism. Stop blaming a belief system and instead refer it to as Indian social system.
