I’m a South Carolina fan but I love Lou Holtz and I loved him when he was at Notre Dame because Notre Dame and South Carolina was my favorite teams growing up I just think it’s amazing he got to coach both of my favorite teams and it’s awesome we got to play against each other in the gator bowl.

Like Gerry before him, Lou had a love for Notre Dame, something BK lacked. Lou also had the passion and know-how to win a natty, which is something many Irish head coaches after him have yet to prove. Go Irish!
