@jondunmore42687 жыл бұрын
This is hilarious. The production values alone are worth it. Good editing, great idea. And I love the way they accurately captured how KISS always record in makeup. I was thinking Criss would do the ending "ah---- haaaaaa" like a frustrated scream over the phone to end the conversation.
@Daemonik4 жыл бұрын
Brilliant. Starts off funny and campy, but then some real feels at the end. Loved the way she got the "period" accuracy for the way she dialled the number at the start (button-dialling was still very new) and the way she was holding her cigarette. Top-notch!

There a lots of songs by KISS that weren't "mainstream" that are frigging awesome. 2,000 Man Rock Bottom Anything for my baby Mr Speed Hard Luck Woman Shock Me Charisma Saint and Sinner Rock and Roll hell War Machine Uh all night Domino Within We are one
@viba1t3div674 жыл бұрын
caperUnderscore26 Shock Me was based off a true story from Ace. Orlando 1976, during a concert he was going up the back stairs, when they did use stairs for a concert, and when he got to the top for the escalator down for their next song he was hit with 220 volts. Luckily he fell backwards and not fowards cause it would’ve been a 20 foot fall. They all wanted him to go to the hospital but the crowd was cheering his name so he continued the show but didn’t have feeling in his right hand.

"Telephone Line" by ELO is a song refuting the song "Becky" lie that the Rebecca Brand, wife of Michael Brand of the bands Chelsea and Lips, called the studio for nagging. Another account says that her name was Rebecca Penridge, wife of Stan Penridge. She called the studio to her husband because her father was being hospitalized for a heart attack and he went to the emergency room and later died and either Stan didn't answer the phone or he said he didn't believe her. He lied! Her father died and he didn't care! Eventually, they got divorced over this! Another song "That's The Kind of Sugar Papa Likes" by Chelsea was about Becky visiting her dying father in the hospital and giving him sugar cubes to eat because that's the kind of sugar her father liked.
