Badminton, such a beautiful sport. If only the world could have more exposure to it. So unpopular outside of Asia :(

Ray Andy of course those people are, you know very lazy and all. They must be playing snake and ladder sitting on a couch.

itsyourmanstho it's pretty popular in Denmark though, and we also got our fair share of Olympic medalists but obviously no where near China.

I don't know anywhere that this game is played in my state. No competitions are advertised and outside of an occasional backyard fun time, I don't know of anyone who's played it. I think that's why there isn't much interest in it as a sport...most of the common people consider it a silly fun game...not a hard core sport. Most american sports seem to involve a high risk of physical injury in order for it to be a "real sport"

Yeah but pretty much nobody on the world scale plays those sports outside of USA with some exeptions. Badminton is second to football(soccer) in world participation.

heatherwanderer777 actually if you don't know how to play this sport, you are really a great bast**d, in your state if it is not played then surely your state is very poor and all the people there must be very lazy and fat. You don't know the spirit of this sport and you need not know because you have proved very clearly that you are not worthy of playing badminton.
