I started gaming back in 1986 with the Nes and Master System. I really got into the arcade scene after getting my Sega Genesis in 1989. At the time it started to seem like the arcades were slowing down. Yes, the belt scrolling beat em' up genre kept it afloat with games like Final Fight and Golden Axe but it was slowing...then 1991 happened and a second arcade golden age hit like a wild fire. I loved the beat em' up genre but once one-on-one fighting games hit I was consumed by them. Addendum- Arabian Nights should have been ported to the Saturn. Fun Fact: Armored Warriors was released on the Capcom beat em up Collection for the Xbox One/One X/Series X/Series S/PS4/PSPRO/PS5 consoles. It plays like a dream on our Series X.

It's not a wonder to me why the double dragon series was the first to use micro transactions.... DD fans were like GTA fans.... DUMB.
