Well, the Mysore Kingdome may have pushed back British from India but since Hyder allied with French, so it is possible French would have became the most dominant power instead of British, but even said that the main reason for British survived is his son Tipu who is unlike his father a religious bigot, so the local Hindus rebelled against him and joined hands with brits, so in the 4th anglo-mysore war the mighty Mysore kingdom fell and pave a way to the unstoppable dominance of british rule of 200 years

31:50 1. Haider Ali will be a Good Ruler till his time comes 2. His successor Tipu will take throne and later fall into Islamism to grasp more power and support 3. Commit atrocities on non muslims and aim to establish his own califate (same as Akbar tried to) 4. Will prolly be defeated by local jagirdars banding together with the Marathas that's just an assumption tho.

@sou_rАй бұрын
@@ashwinvk4124 afaik his father had an alliances with the french too, Tipu had to restamblish them due to the french revolution. why did they do it? the british were a common enemy so it was a tactical alliance. France was a colonian power too therefor i don't see how this is a freedom struggle more so a border resistance (which other kings were also doing around this time) so can you really call him a freedom fighter and amongst them the first one considering his father basically paved the road for him?

Not even 10 minutes into the video... I got same doubts. I am not from Karnataka so I know very little about kempegowda. 1. Coins might be mentioned but the place might be something else or same city nearby. 2. How can a loyal subordinate King fight with other subordinates and establish his own mint? It seems like since he is the founder the author is trying to picture him as most noble man.
@harikrishnayadav3320Ай бұрын
It seems like emperor Archuta raya and kempegowda both well respected figures in Karnataka. That is why he was called loyal even after doing things like establishing mint, increasing autonomy . Otherwise you can blame the emperor for keeping the loyal subordinate industrial.

In feudal system vassals of emperor could fight battles against each other , duel and bring each other to emperors court to settle disputes. If the empire was more centralized this was not possible like in unified chinese empires. Everything was decentralized in feudal system to reduce bureaucracy, accounts/book keeping, and administration which was left to local feifdoms, th emperor a had certain amount of personal holdings in the empire.
