There was a nurse back in my old high school in Boston, Massachusetts who was *OBVIOUSLY* Cape Verdean, but claimed she was Portuguese. I asked her if she was Cape Verdean. She said no, she is Portuguese in *A FIRM WAY* . And, in my mind I *OBVIOUSLY* knew she was lying about who she was, because, she was ashamed of who she was, especially racially and worshipped Whitness. 🤍
