Great video ! Brought back a lot of memories when I started playing fifa 12 for the first time, and in career mode. FIFA 13 was the one I really started to play it, had high potential players such as Neymar and Eriksen at Ajax.

Fifa 09 is my favourite of all time. I got to division 1 in online BAP with my mates. Being a player manager my career teams were usually League 2 English teams and id build them up using free transfers until i had money to start getting potential stars and current players ,i loved buying Regens and making them the best in the game and worth millions! To see they removed good stuff from career mode is mind boggling.

I wish they add youth team as a second team in the career mode.Instead of just having youth players just to sit there.Like a u23 team.That way youth players could improve more realistically playing at u23 and the main team if called up.Based on contract terms too.That would be awesome.Moreover I wish we could train weak foot and skill in order to increase it a star or so.I think the dialogues and interviews with players and media need a little bit of a boost and we good.

I feel like they did something to the youth club in fifa 21 career mode because when u get the champions or ultimate dition u get one ‘homegrown talent’ so i guess they did something new to the youth team

Fifa 16 was the first one I played. I then got hooked and loved career mode over ut. Fifa 20 though is probably the worst one for gameplay. The bugs in it piss me off and I just don't like it. I think 18 was probably my favourite because it's the first one I played on next gen.

FIFA 20. The game that made me buy PES a few weeks ago. I still play a bit. But I don't enjoy it. Mods make it better. But it's still not great. PES isn't perfect either. But it's a change from FIFA. As it's been almost like playing the same FIFA for 3 years. Really hoping they work on it for next gen.

GTN really killed the scouting experience imho; with the database was far more easy and interesting looking for new and exotic players, especially if you started from the bottom of the league. With GTN we always end up with the same boring overused players. btw still insane how little changes have been made or poorly made from fifa 12 to fifa 23

👍🏻 12 was when it got its own special tab in the main menu then. 09-11 it was hidden away in the Online menu’s, and thankfully not too advertised.

i love realism in fifa especially in carrer mode. unrealistic transfer bother me, unrealistic teams and stats annoy me, scouting is basic there’s, no u23 league, i just want all realistic features with amazing realistic gameplay

Honestly fifa 20 is my least favourite game out of the lot they've ruined the gameplay far beyond anything I could've imagined, it's literally not enjoyable to play fifa this year, the dynamic potential is great and I obviously still play but I'm just hoping for so much more for 21 but I don't hold much hope

Be good to see career mode go into more detail, bring back staff upgrades, stadium upgrades. Have a design your own kit option before the start of each new season, it’s possible on pro clubs so why not have it on career mode.

EA are such a joke company , i can’t believe they just recycle the same career mode each year, hype it up by changing the colour schemes/ layouts and expect us to accept the trash. I wish they would add minor simple things, e.g. you’d get a trophy within the game for achieving certain record in different leagues by a player in your CM.(Most goals in a season, most assists in a season , most assists etc). Even make the managers have an actual voice when they speak in the press conferences. The thing that frustrates me the most is that the career mode community is HUGE and EA could so easily ask for feedback & opinions from KZbinrs such as yourself. If they invested some real time in CM, they’d make so much money from it as there’s so many different avenues you could go down to make it so innovative. Instead they just focus way too much on Ultimate team and I agree Matt, it does promote gambling (speaking as someone who had an gambling addiction) but EA only care about the money UT generates them so sadly they will just keep repeating the career mode’s, which is a real shame as it’s the one true thing that brought this wonderful community together and made FIFA fun to play. Edit: Don’t even get me started on the constant bugs and in game errors 🤣
