@emmalouise8001 THANK you for your comment young lady ! Or like Elvis would have said " THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH " LOL. I guess being old I got to see all the good concerts . I love the BEATLES I think they were the best group ever and Elvis the best single Entertainer . there will never be anyone like them again ..

@emmalouise8001 sent to fast yesterday 1 8 1935 was when elvis was born. Yesterday he would have been 90 , we all missed out on a ton of music from him if he was still alive at 90 he would have been retiared but all the years from 1977 till retiarment , would have been a lot of music and possibly more movies . THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE.....

@@frankmarullo228 My problem is that all the bands/muscians I like are either dead or don’t tour anymore haha! I would have loved to have seen Elvis live or Queen or Fleetwood Mac, just to name a few. I like the Beatles too and as John Lennon said “Without Elvis, there would be no Beatles” It’s such a shame Elvis never got to preform here in the UK. He would have sold out every concert. I heard he enjoyed our British humour and liked watching Monty python. There would have been some funny interactions with the crowd I bet!

The poster in the hotel lobby is not genuine or correct for that matter. When Elvis appeared there in 1969 the group that backed him up was the Imperials. JD Sumner and the Stamps did not appear with Elvis in Las Vegas until January 1972. We have mentioned this to the hotel numerous times but they never change it. There is also a misconception of the 30th floor suite as well. Elvis did stay on the 30th but had no view of the front of the hotel. His suite was at the back of the hotel with a view of the golf course and hotel swimming pool. We have a video on our channel about hotel history and Elvis if you are interested in giving it a watch.

Thank you for watching. I wonder why they don’t have a real poster in the lobby? My video shows the poster in the lobby but in no way did I say it was authentic so I appreciate the clarity. I didn’t go into any history of the 30th floor because we could not go up there but I hope to go back and I can explain what it looked like before and after all the changes. Thank you for watching.
@AlwaysElvis
@AlwaysElvis 9 күн бұрын
@ the 30th floor originally contained a night club and a suite used by Elvis and other entertainers. The night club faced the front, the suite faced the back with views both north and south. The 30th floor was totally dismantled (not just renovated) and rebuilt with three suites and expanded significantly.

Todos os grandes artistas fizerem shows em Las Vegas, começando pelo maior de todos, o Frank Sinatra, mas os noivos vão a Las Vegas ser casar com um sósia do Elvis Presley, e de mais ninguém, nem do Sinatra.

The poster needs redone with the 1969 jumpsuit or suit jacket and pants not the 1970 jumpsuit that is on the poster .

I’ve hear many complaints about that poster. Seems it’s just a gimmick of his shows and not an actual poster. But it is the one in the lobby??!!

They have that fake "4 WEEKS ONLY" sign in the lobby, advertising a JULY 1969 engagement with a picture from AUGUST 1970, quite a feat. That fake is sold on ebay and other sites. ALSO considering he hadn't even performed live yet, so there would be no live pics yet, unless you consider one in black leather from the 68 special, which whoever made this fake didn't consider. They should of found a real ad, with 68 special pix that do exist. It's embarrassing the hotel has that up.

All the great artists perform in Las Vegas, starting with the greatest of all, Frank Sinatra, but the bride and groom go to Las Vegas to marry an Elvis Presley lookalike, and no one else, not even Sinatra.
@WalkwithHistory
@WalkwithHistory 9 күн бұрын
That is so true and I wonder why. Both were married in Vegas, both did eventually get divorced so why is Elvis more synonymous with weddings in Vegas?
