It has always been inspiring to know that our Hindu brothers and sisters in Guyana have kept Hinduism alive a well. Indo-Guyanese Hindus against all odds have kept Hindu Dharma alive. They have been outside Bharat (India) for generations and proud Hindus. The same goes for our brothers and sisters in the rest of the Carribean, Mauritius and Fiji. To all you, living in the far away lands, please do visit Bharat for yatra and motherland connection. You are most welcome 🙏 I will definitely visit Mauritius, Carribean and Fiji Hari 🕉 🙏

Before I heard of Bharat, it was in my heart. Today I know why, cause DNA can't lie. Make Your own research, who was Sarasvati people and where they came from. We are relatives, all of us. Even today in Serbia we have songs similar to Vedic ones and our language is near to Sanskriti, they had the same origin.

*_Why I'm Hindu?_* I'm a Hindu because it is one of most free religions of the world (I could say the only religion, a perspective) as it gives me the maximum freedom on almost everything. I'm a Hindu when I am not following any God, I am Hindu when I am following multiple gods, I am a Hindu when I am following one God, and what not. There is no limit in defining what Hinduism is, it is the tradition which allows me to dance in ecstasy, get ultimate experience of joy in the music (Nada Yoga), realise the self worth, know ownself. It provides me the ultimate freedom in living as I want, at the same time teaching me to follow the ontological theory originally can be drawn from the laws of Karma. It teaches me that the learning has no boundaries, and makes me to be shameless in learning anything that can provide benefits to others/society. Liberalism in learning can be seen when Hinduism openly talks about Kamasutra (The science of sexuality). The great science of consciousness and the mind donated to the world by Siddhartha (AKA Gotama Buddha) some of his teachings are yet to be proved by the modern sciences. There is more science in Hinduism than beliefs. Hinduism is the most diverse religion in the world with respect to its followings, cultures, traditions and values etc. It incorporates the different cultures from north to south, from east to west and the centre. The best thing I love about Hinduism is that it doesn't want you to change anything inside you or what you follow and who you follow, you can be a Hindu even when you don't go to the temple or any religious places, no obligations but to be nice to everyone and to yourself, and the last to know yourself. There is more to write on the beauty of Hinduism but the centuries will last, and the content won't. ❤️ A perspective with my little knowledge. Much love ❤️

@@shanesavier586 gautam buddha took many things from hinduismsuch as nirvana, karma, reincarnation etc as he was born in hindu family. buddha never made buddhist religion he was just a sage, buddhism was formed after his death. even later buddhist writers took indra, brahma and many hindu gods in their stories.
@OkusTenet
@OkusTenet Жыл бұрын
@@shanesavier586 had not the edicts of Ashoka found explaining his conversion and steps taken to promote Buddhism, it was nothing but a Path shown by a sage and not an organised religion which it was made much much later on. And that includes the stories of Hindu gods and concepts taken form Hinduism infused in it. So, much likely it was Ashoka who's responsible for making it a religion otherwise it would have long ago become a sect in Hinduism. But it wasn't required.

The love and respect for every living creature is in my opinion the back bone of the Hindu religion, it is profound and shows in their eyes,face and the way they treat people. Also that God lives in the heart of every living creature. I was Hindu without knowing it!

I wasn't born into Hinduism. But the neat thing is, I didn't seek out it. It sought me out. For a very long time, I wasn't religious or spiritual whatsoever, and nothing could change my mind. I have a lot of love and admiration for Hinduism now, though. I gave in to what my soul was being called to do, and haven't looked back since. Everything about it just feels right. I feel my soul strongly being called to go to India, as well. Almost like it would feel more at home there. So I hope to be there one day. अमेरिका से नमस्ते 🇺🇲🇮🇳

This is normal, because Hinduism does not force you to do anything. There are no laws to which one must obey. Hinduism revolves around you (your spiritual search). It gives you freedom of practice (your dharma), framed by your karma (every action you do, good or bad, reflects on you). Being a Hindu is above all being free to build your spirituality, you can be a polytheist Hindu, a monotheist, an idolater or not. You can even be an Atheist.

as a follower of the path of the Buddha, it is evident to me that many concepts we use have had their origin in the millennial traditions of Hinduism, but it is equally certain that many things also separate us. Thus I feel much closer to Taoism than to popular Hinduism (could also apply to some forms of popular Buddhism) BUT it is also very clear that we all are just different spokes of the same wheel...

This is indeed, a beautifully produced film on a subject that is extremely vast, and Get so neglected in our Western world. I became interested in Hinduism, and the twin doctrines of reincarnation and karma, when I was only sixteen, after havingq read the book "Yoga" 1by Ernest Wood. I learned a little yoga at the time, and began practicing meditation. As a Lutheran Christian, raised in Northeastern Florida, this was something I found I could share with very few people. Over the years, I studied many different religions, but the practice of meditation is one I have kept, and developed over the years. Now there are many people in America interested in these topics, although viewed as "New Agers." When you understand the vast history behind India, and the fact that these religious practices have survived for at least six thousand years, it can hardly be said these practices belong only to the New Age. Thank you for an inspiring video.

Same. I became interested in eastern religions when I was about 8-10 years old. Standing in my aunt's yard on a perfect summer day, I knew I had lived before. It was a miracle. Thank you for saying the truth. Many Westerners don't like to acknowledge true history of Hindu religion and Yoga is the perfect example. They have denied the fact that yoga is a Hindu practice. In order to practice yoga without guilt (because most of them are Christian), they strip the Hindu aspect from it. I think yoga should be practiced by anyone who desires but please do not take away its meaning and history.

As a young man, I befriended Raju, a university student from India. He was always kind and focused. Over time, I met many other Indians and developed an interest in the people and customs of their land. With all the exposure over time, I truly admire and respect India, it's history and religion. Having traveled much, I can say that every devout Hindu I have ever met was a charming, easily befriended and insightful person. Your vidseo helps me to understand why this is so.

Excellant presentation with just true facts one fact is that very few realise that allthe other religions in India have brought in from foreign nations so we indians should love each other without any reservations

I am from a invented nation known these days as Pakistan. Born in Lava's city Lahore and raised under a foreign system called Christianity. Being associated with identity confused invented nation and a religion that is never true to my roots is criteria of embarrassment, but I am proud of a FACT that Hinduism is still running in my bloodstreams. Thank you for this history lesson and a reminder to all living in a Indian subcontinent. "SINDHU"

I had Jehovah's Witnesses knock on my door trying to convert me, and I said I'm Hindu, and then tried to explain it to them, but it's too dense to explain at the threshold of a door. They left looking confused and never came back, lol

Of course, Hinduism is oldest , The purest religion of humanity. All other religions are man made, hence somehow messedup. Unfortunately true hinduism is faded today due to extreme wars & invasions. Later Modernisation & Politics kept modifying this for different reasons. 5million plus hand written books were burnt 🔥 during nalanda university destor. That's why people today are fighting within and in social. Hand made religions doesn't provide the grace, just a illusion. Think about it.

It clears some air on Caste System. That's the first thing westerners tell you about Hinduism and often don't know anything philosophical. I think it stems from misconceptions about Aryans that still exist there.
