*_Why I'm Hindu?_* I'm a Hindu because it is one of most free religions of the world (I could say the only religion, a perspective) as it gives me the maximum freedom on almost everything. I'm a Hindu when I am not following any God, I am Hindu when I am following multiple gods, I am a Hindu when I am following one God, and what not. There is no limit in defining what Hinduism is, it is the tradition which allows me to dance in ecstasy, get ultimate experience of joy in the music (Nada Yoga), realise the self worth, know ownself. It provides me the ultimate freedom in living as I want, at the same time teaching me to follow the ontological theory originally can be drawn from the laws of Karma. It teaches me that the learning has no boundaries, and makes me to be shameless in learning anything that can provide benefits to others/society. Liberalism in learning can be seen when Hinduism openly talks about Kamasutra (The science of sexuality). The great science of consciousness and the mind donated to the world by Siddhartha (AKA Gotama Buddha) some of his teachings are yet to be proved by the modern sciences. There is more science in Hinduism than beliefs. Hinduism is the most diverse religion in the world with respect to its followings, cultures, traditions and values etc. It incorporates the different cultures from north to south, from east to west and the centre. The best thing I love about Hinduism is that it doesn't want you to change anything inside you or what you follow and who you follow, you can be a Hindu even when you don't go to the temple or any religious places, no obligations but to be nice to everyone and to yourself, and the last to know yourself. There is more to write on the beauty of Hinduism but the centuries will last, and the content won't. ❤️ A perspective with my little knowledge. Much love ❤️

Hmmm, nice explanation although there much more religions which express freedom. I agree that Hinduism doesn’t limit this as most.

@@shanesavier586 gautam buddha took many things from hinduismsuch as nirvana, karma, reincarnation etc as he was born in hindu family. buddha never made buddhist religion he was just a sage, buddhism was formed after his death. even later buddhist writers took indra, brahma and many hindu gods in their stories.
@OkusTenet2 жыл бұрын
@@shanesavier586 had not the edicts of Ashoka found explaining his conversion and steps taken to promote Buddhism, it was nothing but a Path shown by a sage and not an organised religion which it was made much much later on. And that includes the stories of Hindu gods and concepts taken form Hinduism infused in it. So, much likely it was Ashoka who's responsible for making it a religion otherwise it would have long ago become a sect in Hinduism. But it wasn't required.

The love and respect for every living creature is in my opinion the back bone of the Hindu religion, it is profound and shows in their eyes,face and the way they treat people. Also that God lives in the heart of every living creature. I was Hindu without knowing it!

I wasn't born into Hinduism. But the neat thing is, I didn't seek out it. It sought me out. For a very long time, I wasn't religious or spiritual whatsoever, and nothing could change my mind. I have a lot of love and admiration for Hinduism now, though. I gave in to what my soul was being called to do, and haven't looked back since. Everything about it just feels right. I feel my soul strongly being called to go to India, as well. Almost like it would feel more at home there. So I hope to be there one day. अमेरिका से नमस्ते 🇺🇲🇮🇳

This is normal, because Hinduism does not force you to do anything. There are no laws to which one must obey. Hinduism revolves around you (your spiritual search). It gives you freedom of practice (your dharma), framed by your karma (every action you do, good or bad, reflects on you). Being a Hindu is above all being free to build your spirituality, you can be a polytheist Hindu, a monotheist, an idolater or not. You can even be an Atheist.

As a young man, I befriended Raju, a university student from India. He was always kind and focused. Over time, I met many other Indians and developed an interest in the people and customs of their land. With all the exposure over time, I truly admire and respect India, it's history and religion. Having traveled much, I can say that every devout Hindu I have ever met was a charming, easily befriended and insightful person. Your vidseo helps me to understand why this is so.

This is indeed, a beautifully produced film on a subject that is extremely vast, and Get so neglected in our Western world. I became interested in Hinduism, and the twin doctrines of reincarnation and karma, when I was only sixteen, after havingq read the book "Yoga" 1by Ernest Wood. I learned a little yoga at the time, and began practicing meditation. As a Lutheran Christian, raised in Northeastern Florida, this was something I found I could share with very few people. Over the years, I studied many different religions, but the practice of meditation is one I have kept, and developed over the years. Now there are many people in America interested in these topics, although viewed as "New Agers." When you understand the vast history behind India, and the fact that these religious practices have survived for at least six thousand years, it can hardly be said these practices belong only to the New Age. Thank you for an inspiring video.

Same. I became interested in eastern religions when I was about 8-10 years old. Standing in my aunt's yard on a perfect summer day, I knew I had lived before. It was a miracle. Thank you for saying the truth. Many Westerners don't like to acknowledge true history of Hindu religion and Yoga is the perfect example. They have denied the fact that yoga is a Hindu practice. In order to practice yoga without guilt (because most of them are Christian), they strip the Hindu aspect from it. I think yoga should be practiced by anyone who desires but please do not take away its meaning and history.
