From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17 God loves and blesses you!✝✝✝ Turn away from these evil things and turn and seek Jesus Christ for hope, love, and peace! This is not the truth of eternal light, the truth is Jesus Christ for eternal light and life, hope, love, peace, salvation, and the answer to getting to Heaven!✝✝✝ God loved us so much that he sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins so that one day we can see God in heaven and go to heaven! Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and HE WILL FORGIVE you! Ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness for your sins and He will forgive you because He is a merciful God! Repent before it's too late!!!✝✝✝ symbol of Jesus's sacrifice, love, and salvation!✝✝✝

But how the class of cast people into different statues is a little off , way off .Man in his interpretation of the written law . You were raised in biblical ignorance then. The God of the bible is Jesus Christ. Though there's more to it than that, Jesus is as perfect a representation of what God is actually like as we can possibly understand. He became human to show us what He is really like and we hated Him and killed the crap out of Him. He should be afraid of us. But He loves us. Who could possibly be more approachable than one who lets His creation kill Him and doesn't even fight back and still loves the ones who are killing Him? What more could He possibly do to be approachable? The views of Christianity that the vast majority of people have are 100% shallow presuppositions. Strawmen created by critics which have been woven into the general education of society. Pretend for a second that Satan is real. Doesn't it seem to anyone that he is doing a great job of keeping people away from Jesus through mountains of bad P.R.? Satan is incredibly intelligent.

*_Why I'm Hindu?_* I'm a Hindu because it is one of most free religions of the world (I could say the only religion, a perspective) as it gives me the maximum freedom on almost everything. I'm a Hindu when I am not following any God, I am Hindu when I am following multiple gods, I am a Hindu when I am following one God, and what not. There is no limit in defining what Hinduism is, it is the tradition which allows me to dance in ecstasy, get ultimate experience of joy in the music (Nada Yoga), realise the self worth, know ownself. It provides me the ultimate freedom in living as I want, at the same time teaching me to follow the ontological theory originally can be drawn from the laws of Karma. It teaches me that the learning has no boundaries, and makes me to be shameless in learning anything that can provide benefits to others/society. Liberalism in learning can be seen when Hinduism openly talks about Kamasutra (The science of sexuality). The great science of consciousness and the mind donated to the world by Siddhartha (AKA Gotama Buddha) some of his teachings are yet to be proved by the modern sciences. There is more science in Hinduism than beliefs. Hinduism is the most diverse religion in the world with respect to its followings, cultures, traditions and values etc. It incorporates the different cultures from north to south, from east to west and the centre. The best thing I love about Hinduism is that it doesn't want you to change anything inside you or what you follow and who you follow, you can be a Hindu even when you don't go to the temple or any religious places, no obligations but to be nice to everyone and to yourself, and the last to know yourself. There is more to write on the beauty of Hinduism but the centuries will last, and the content won't. ❤️ A perspective with my little knowledge. Much love ❤️

All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, the wages for our sin is death. The Good news is that God so loved the world, that he sent his ONLY begotten son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Whoever believes in their heart that Jesus died on the cross, rose again on the 3rd and confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, will be saved. God created us to have a relationship with him, only through Jesus can we be reunited with him.

Just some of the problems I have (a former Hindu) with Hinduism:. 1. In reading the Vedas they don't mention later gods such as Shiva, Ganesh etc..why not? 2. Many gods were obviously myths, Shiva, Ganesh Hanuman..no such thing as anthropomorphic "gods"... The God who created this vast universe obviously does not look like a human or animal and is likely invisible to human eyes 3. The Upanishads (Vedanta) reads way too much into the Vedas that wasnt there to begin with.. (the Rig Veda esp. are only stories of how the Aryan gods "helped" them nothing more) 4. The Puranas story of "gods" were still being written a little over 1000 years ago...why so recent? 5. The Puranas are inconsistent between each other and within each one 6. The caste system is the worlds oldest form of apartheid (established by the conquering Aryans) --millions have suffered under it 7.There is absolutely no unified teaching of Hinduism nor unified body of direction...you can just about believe whatever you want and be a "Hindu".. 8.There is no unified, nor believable account of Creation...in the 10th mandala of the oldest book the Vedas it acknowledges that no one knows who or how all this is was created... 9.There is very little or no moral instruction by hindu priests...they are only used for and paid for (sometimes exorbitantly) ceremonies and useless mantras and "spells" 10.The doctrine of Samsar (reincarnation) makes no sense..why would God (gods) institute a process where you could not learn from your mistakes from a "past life"... 11.There are too many religious books and inconsistencies thruout each one- shows a vivid imagination by the rishis.. These are just some of the problems with Hinduism...there are more.... btw..I love my culture....but I have a real problem with the "truth" of Hinduism....

@Shruti Yadav I know enough Hindi to hold a basic conversation, but sadly I don't have any Indian friends to practice conversations with. 😕 The sounds of the language are easy for me. I'm just not familiar with the meanings of some words yet. That temple looks amazing. It's a Shiva temple, correct? Also since you asked, मै अमेरिका से हूँ।

@Shruti Yadav I love and respect all of the deities, so I'll show that same respect to the temples. I strongly feel called to the goddesses, myself. Durga, especially. I only have one very small Hindu temple near where I live, but I'm grateful to have one at all. I've heard about the many different languages in India. I find them all interesting. I feel like it would still be helpful to know some Hindi, however. I actually enjoy learning it. The grammar messes me up sometimes, but I'm trying my best. 😅 I'll have to keep that place in mind. With how many places I wanna see over there, I may as well just live there. Haha. Joking aside, I'm serious when I say my soul is being called to be there. Hard to explain, but it feels like it's meant to happen. In the meantime, I'm doing my best to learn and understand the culture. Also, if you wanna chat on another platform besides youtube, I'm okay with that if you are. If not, it's okay, and I understand. I just appreciate the conversation, is all.

@Shruti Yadav honestly I'll be happy to explain why I feel the connection I feel, but I'm not sure if you or anyone else will believe me. It's a long story, but I deeply hope you'll read it anyway. You might enjoy it. So to start with, I have a spirit that's been watching over me my whole life. I found this out because a few months ago, I started to spiritually awaken. It came to me, and I didn't seek it out. I never was religious or spiritual up until that point. During that time, I discovered I have very strong intuitive abilities that I'm able to use whenever I want, which enables me to communicate with my spirit guide in a (somewhat) direct way. Through my communication with her, I found out she's an Indian lady that was born in the late 1400s and died in the mid 1500s. There's a temple in Tamil Nadu that my spirit guide told me she went to in her earthly life, and I really want to visit it. And she also told me that she was picked by Durga herself to watch over me. Hence why I feel so connected to Ma Durga and have so much love and admiration for her. I also recently came across something called jivanmukta, and it resonated very deeply with me. Basically a soul that's liberated while still human. I believe it's true for me, because it's always been difficult for me to have attachment to most things in this world, even before my awakening. And everything about my connection with Brahman and everything else in the universe just comes naturally to me. Living a peaceful life and doing good for others comes naturally to me. My connection to nature comes naturally. As with everything else, that concept sought me out. It's like this is all meant to be happening for me. It's all too perfect to be coincidence. I don't expect you to believe me, and I know it sounds crazy. But this is all very real, and I feel very blessed to put it lightly.

These are just some of the problems with Hinduism...there are more.... btw..I love my Indian culture....but I have a real problem with the "truth" of Hinduism....

While there are numerous philosophies to describe the depth of Sanatan Dharm and its comprehensivness which the priestly class i.e. Pandits who know nothing about it and the foreign forces have distorted over time resulting in caste system, superstitious beliefs, etc. hiding its real essence and vasteness like 1) Believe in God ! - Aastik - Accepted 2) Don't believe in God ! - You're still accepted as Nastik and can be a very good Hindu.... 3) You want to worship idols - please go ahead. You are a murti pujak(idol worship) 4) You dont want to worship idols- no problem u can focus on Nirguna Brahman. 5) You want to criticise something in our religion. Come forward. We are logical. Nyaya, Tarka etc are core Hindu schools 6) You want to accept beliefs as it is. Most welcome. Please go ahead with it. 7) You want to start your journey by reading "Bhagvad Gita"- Sure ! 8) You want to start your journey by reading "Upanishads" - Go ahead 9) You want to start your journey by reading "Purana"- Be my guest. 10) You just don't like reading Puranas or other books. No problem my dear. Go by Bhakti(devotion) tradition. 11) You don't like idea of Bhakti(devotion) ! No problem. Do your Karma(moral duty) Be a karmayogi. 12) You want to enjoy life. Very good. No problem at all. This is Charvaka Philosophy. 13) You want to abstain from all the enjoyment of life & find God - let's go ! Be a Sadhu, an ascetic ! 14) You don't like the concept of God. You believe in Nature only - Welcome. (Trees are our friends and Prakriti or nature is worthy of worship). 15) You believe in one God or Supreme Energy. Superb! Follow Advaita philosophy 16) You want a Guru. Go ahead. Receive gyaan(knowledge). 17) You don't want a Guru.. Help yourself ! Meditate, Study ! 18) You believe in Female energy ! Shakti is worshipped. 19) You believe that every human being is equal. Yeah! You're awesome, come on let's celebrate Hinduism! "Vasudhaiva kutumbakam" (the world is a family) 20) You don't have time to celebrate the festival. Don't worry. One more festival is coming! There are multiple festivals every single day of the year. 21) You are a working person. Don't have time for religion. Its okay. You will still be a Hindu. 22) You like to go to temples. Devotion is loved. 23) You don't like to go to temples - no problem. You are still a Hindu! 24) You know that Hinduism is a way of life, with considerable freedom. 25) You believe that everything has God in it. So you worship your mother, father, guru, tree, River, Prani-matra, Earth, Universe! 26) And If you don't believe that everything has GOD in it - No problems. Respect your viewpoint. 27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu " (May you all live happily) This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!. Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah" Let the knowledge come to us from every direction.....

I found this video to be truly helpful. The way you broke each element down so thoroughly made it very easy to follow and made each topic clear and concise. Even when other major religions attempt something such as this, there are very often parts where narrators say, "You just have to rely on faith." For many people answers such as that simply aren't acceptable. After having so many Hindu misconceptions cleard up, and as a struggling Christian that has been having difficulty with blindly following a faith out of fear. I find myself drawn to the teachings of Hinduism. Many of the Hindu teachings go along with what I feel in my heart, yet contradict my Christian upbringing. I plan on looking into Hinduism further. Thank You.

They made Gods from the patterns of constellations.. Parshurama is a constellation etc Brahma Vishnu Mahesh were yogis or enlightened beings who knew the vedas and attained samadhi...or highest level of self actualisation.. ..so people remember them..rama was king of Ayodhya n Krishna a prince of Mathura.. they learnt the vedas too...they were not divine but mukti jivas or liberated souls. .. 46:38 "Stoner Metal Deities" You got me. I'm sold. Joking aside, thank you for this video. I've been enjoying learning about Hinduism. I decend from Scottish, Scandanavian, and Irish Celtic peoples, and I believe Hinduism is perhaps the closest living relative to the Druidism my ancestors once practiced. The one thing that dissuades me from many faiths, however, is the worship aspect. If we are all one and all as Brahma, God, Goddess, Shiva, the Universe, or whatever you may call it, then why treat it as something sperate from ourselves? Meditation, Prayer, and Yoga, or even one who achieves a meditative or spiritual state via Excercise, Music, etc. appear to all be paths to the same end. In the same way of thinking you could even say they are all the same activity in a sense. Though perhaps this is just coming from my agnostic point of view.

What u asked is right. In hinduism, it is also said that if u want to find a God, it is within u. U just have to see beyond the maya. And yoga and meditation are a part to reach there. But, every soul is on its own journey of finding the truth and the surrounding situations play a huge part in what path he/she is going to take. From here these various other traditions arose. But, all paths r right.

you are not different than God, you have to awaken urself and resonate with the vibration of the higher energy in order to merge into the cosmos of the creator, and unless u do that u will keep having rebirths. creator in hinduism is adi shakti or adi parashakti or etc (ppl give different names to her) - she is basically nature or the cosmos herself and creation and destruction is inevitable, even the god's incarnation cannot escape it, that is the concept.

I had a very secular experience with a vary vague understanding of Buddhism growing up Han Chinese, Hinduism is more interesting and beautiful than I imagined, Im very against organized religions I see it as a tool to manipulate the least educated masses, But Hinduism seems like it’s urging you to explore your own consciousness and morality, it can really change how you view the world like with Daoism although it’s more of a philosophy than a religion.

Much love ❤️

this is kind of confusing as the left hand path doesn't have the orthodoxy of say the Abrahamic religions now I call myself a Thiestic Satanist although some Satanists as I'm sure you already know say that's not "true" Satanism because it's an atheist religion focused on base instincts and self glorification... Just some of the problems I have (a former Hindu) with Hinduism:. 1. In reading the Vedas they don't mention later gods such as Shiva, Ganesh etc..why not? 2. Many gods were obviously myths, Shiva, Ganesh Hanuman..no such thing as anthropomorphic "gods" 3.

Then study and recognize different aspects of Hinduism, namely - Monotheism Monism Polytheism Polymorphic Monotheism Henotheism Pantheism Panentheism Animism Agonism and Atheism (depending on which Philosophies of Hinduism). And more. Study the denominations/ Sampradhayas- Vaisnavism, Shaivism, Shaktism, Smartism, Sauram, Etc. And Understand different theological perspectives. More i can list down (as simple as possible), unless if you wish to know more :)

I'm a moderately Christian writer who likes to take inspiration from well known mythologies-Greek, Roman, Norse, and even some Christian. I try to avoid using lore from still living religions that I am not part of, but I had a great stroke of inspiration upon hearing and reading about the goddess Kali, and how she lept from the folds of Durga's angry face. I have a character in a story I am writing who, among others, has a personal guardian spirit that protects her. This spirit has a similar design, sporting four arms, dark purple skin, and a nasty temper, as well as being summoned from the enraged face of the character she protects. I am worried that this could be considered harmful cultural appropriation, and the last thing I want to do is hurt others through inspiration. Should I change the character as to not accociate it with a religion I am not part of, contextualize in story, or simply not mention it?

In Hinduism, can one evolve within a single lifetime or are they confined within the limits of their "nature"? Can a person move to a higher position on the wheel of samsara in this life or do they have to wait for the next?
@skbnair1
@skbnair1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Shelley, the time needed for the evolution of one’s Atman (soul) to Moksha (Self-Realization) depends on the depth and intensity of the self effort taken by that person. Man has been given the free-will to make that choice to make the effort. The scriptures say that it is indeed possible to evolve within a single lifetime with the guidance of a Self-Realized Guru and by faithfully following the spiritual Sadhana (practices) advised by that Guru. You may try reading the book “Autobiography of a Yogi” by “Paramahansa Yogananda.” You will find answers to a lot of your questions in this spiritual classic.
