Before this gets mentioned I do want to apologies about the pacing of Chapter 1 being slightly longer than I had hoped for. Due to majority of the footage being corrupted in this time period making a montage was not a viable option, also a lot of the ground work for the speedrun is explained here as less discoveries were found overtime. Secondly I just want to mention that I am completely okay with people reacting to this video on their livestream channel, all I ask is that if you decide to upload your reaction to KZbin please wait a week as I would like my video to not be drowned out by others reactions (and of course crediting me in your space). I hope you all enjoyed the video I technically started research on this video nearly 4 years ago and put off the project a lot. I am happy I finally got this video done and I hope this commemorates the great players who innovated the game. Lastly the interviews will be live on my 2nd channel on 30/4 so check it out here: shorturl.at/gstPS

Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make this video Saiyanz. Cannot stress how great it is to have something like this forever. From the research, to the editing, I loved it so much and respect the work done. Its hard for me to stay keen and watch a video all in one sitting with the length, but it was really well produced. Was great going through great memories from myself back then and learning about the more recent/new times from people.

This is probably one of the best KH videos ever made, the attention to detail and the amount of history is so awesome. So many amazing runners for this game over the years and how much commitment to it has been amazing to watch the past decade. It feels almost yesterday I was watching your streams of KHFM speedruns. It's insane to look at your footage all these years later and still be amazed with how good it looks for the time. I remember watching them way back then and being blown away.

I’ve been thinking since this video came out a few days ago. This look back at history and seeing my name and time in the credits has given me the drive I need to grind out this game again. Such a great run. Glad to be a part of this community and I can’t wait to break my own barriers in the future.

1. This video is incredible. The parts where you show off areas from KH1 with uncommon angles, as background to the talking, is actually magical and I love those bits so much (like 1:01:32, 1:01:55, 1:08:37, 1:11:43) 2. This game REALLY has TWO different runners named "Bizkit".... and we're sure this isn't a conspiracy?

I really Loved watching this! I only started watching runs around 2019 (Temptleton's 2:09 was the first WR I ever saw), so I didn't know about a lot of these longer term records and runners until over the more recent years or even until this video. It was very interesting to see everything pooled together and even knowing some older runs are lost to time, it's a shame, but taking the records that are there for them and re-preserving them against everything else is great, so that at least their importance is known and acknowledged with everything that's still available today. I appreciate all the work and research that went into this so people who aren't familiar or haven't been around or involved for a long time can still appreciate the evolution of how the run has grown and changed over the years. It's crazy to think that even the last chunk was only as recent as like 2016 or so. In numbers, that was only 6 years, but in TIME - looking at the footage of everyone, looking at some of the strategies and how they were changed - it's really still SO MUCH. And that's JUST these recent six or so years. This was a great video, and I'm super happy it exists! 1FM runs are my personal favourite to watch and it was a very kind and thoughtful undertaking to put together something like this not just for the runners, but for the viewers who appreciate them and their hard work and success! 💖
