Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is the best (in my opinion) story wise. Maybe the gameplay was tricky at times but it had one of the best character endings and was the most real out of all the Kingdom Hearts games.

now that i think about it, Suikoden 3 did the same thing as Birth By Sleep. 3 Main Characters who you play the stories as (up til Chapter 4, where you choose which one you want to be.) (and there were 3 other secret special scenarios for 3 other ones...........well 2 are secret, ones basically unlocks itself via Hugo's story.) they called it the Trinity System. And it was fantastic.

Personally I think its wierd how I only have re:coded 358/2 days and dream drop distance and watched cut scenes from the series and understand it all yet those who played dont. For example, organization 13 were searching in castle oblivion not only the the keyblade weilder but for Ventus so that they can combine his pure half with his dark half to form the X-blade and get to the dtd. I dont mean to toot my own horn but, TOOT TOOT.

A side note is that Dissidia originally was gonna a Kingdom Hearts spin off, but Disney didn't want their characters fighting each other since it gave off a bad image. Interview exert: "Dissidia, but that was a project we were originally thinking of using for KH. However, deciding it would be a bad idea to make Disney characters fight each other, it never materialized for KH and ended up shifting to FF." Also the Japan only browser game KH Chi has a Foreteller's note that's been made cannon in the series.

I don't know what the answer to the riddle is. But personally, I would like to see a history of Guitar Hero. That may either lead to a history of Rock Band, or Rock Band will simply be a part of the Guitar Hero history. But a history of Guitar Hero would also include Band Hero (which is technically just a easy mode of Guitar Hero) and DJ Hero.

Great video wrap up of the series; it's my favorite series and you've done well researching and explaining the history of Kingdom Hearts. My only "complaints" are quite nit-picky, like some things you didn't mention despite talking about similar topics. For instance, Dissidia Final Fantasy was originally supposed to be a Kingdom Hearts game. You mentioned Disney wouldn't want their characters fighting each other, mentioned Dissidia, and just didn't talk about how it was supposed to be a KH game. The other thing is you mentioned both KH Mobile and KH Coded, but left out KH V Cast; a Kingdom Hearts game for a Japanese cell phone that also never made it around the world. One last nitpick is that you didn't mention KH X [chi], but I suppose that game will be saved for the next instalment of this web series. Good work!

Okay, I am trying to figure it out, and the only thing that i can think of that is somewhat similar to the description isssss. (the Soul Reaver) from The Legacy of Kain franchise. She described the thing like a dangerous object that is as deadly as it is historical and for those who possessed it it's more like a soul eating leach. Something that will stay with you and will not let you die so easily. And if anyone here has ever played any of the LOK games you know that that's the soul reaver. Famous and infamous, the legend spread, The possessed soul eating sword, The Soul Reaver. But if i am wrong please let me know. I'll give it another look.

I preferred 358/2D over BBS. BBS felt tedious with having to go through each story only after beating the first, and then it just being a separate part in the storyline rather than being just a completely separate story (like had been seen with Chain of Memories--Riku's was semi-separate from Sora's.) The missions were quite enjoyable to me, and the recons felt fun in a way instead of monotonous, although that might just be my own bias talking due to my love of the Organizaiton. I was semi-glad that DDD had fixed the negative feeling BBS had, but the Drop-Me-Nots should've been an option, not a you-need-to-buy-this-in-game feature. One should've been given the option to turn off the drop system and let there just be an automatic one set off after a certain point (such as after a boss battle or like later on in DDD's storyline). DDD was great in storyline, but I felt like the gameplay was iffy. In a fight, half the time the flowmotion happened without my wanting. I did like the recaps to each KH title, though. I feel like the remakes were necessary (1.5 and 2.5). There are a lot of KH games in comparison to other game series, and they all span different consoles/handhelds. There had also been fans who had purchased PS3s with hope for KHIII to be released on it. Right before III's released, I think these remakes were perfectly timed and organized. I do have a slight qualm with 2.5--I think BBS would've been better as the movie since it was mostly recommendable in storyline, and Coded had fantastic customization. The best in the series, in my honest opinion. Meanwhile, Coded's storyline...eh. Maybe they'll fix that and clear things up more with the movie, but I have my doubts with that.

Quite honestly, I bought KH1 & 2 a month ago and started playing the first one last weekend... I dont really get why people love the series so much. Sure the story is brought out/told pretty nicely but during the first 11 hours of my playtime I have barely enjoyed the game at all
