All because of greed. This company is worth billions. How can you pay a popular fighter who's got the time put in, coming off of a title fight, FIFTEEN THOUSAND?? I dislike Nate more than I like him, but that's fucked up. Dana could make all of his competition disappear into the ether by paying his fighters more, but he doesn't. This is actually a great piece of journalism. Something you don't see anymore. You're personal opinion can't be found anywhere, you simply lay out the facts, and that's unbelievably admirable. In fact, this is so straight up with the facts, it actually shows how frustrating working with Nate has been for the UFC. A lot of people just want to claim that Dana White is an asshole to Diaz, but when you look at the chronology of it, like you show in this video, it proves that he really wasn't a "needle mover" until he fought McGreggor. Tbh... it kind of seems like Nate Diaz owes his current spot in the MMA world to Conor McGreggor, someone who was able to do what Nate couldn't for all those years.

This is all evidence to support why I think that despite Nate’s incredible UFC 241 success both in and out of the octagon lifting his stock to all time highs and despite wanting to see him headline shows without McGregor... The smartest thing for Nate to do is use his star power and his callout of Masvidal to get the trilogy with Conor and take that fight next instead. He’ll probably make 5 mil and never need to fight again unless it’s lucrative or he just wants to and it’s just far to likely that he gets screwed by the UFC between now and then if he doesn’t take that fight now while he’s got all the momentum. If he can keep winning these fights against popular and exciting top ranked guys then yea it’s gonna get him hella paid even without Conor and the trilogy will always be there and the payout will grow so long as he’s winning and keeps himself relevant but the worry is he could lose a decision and that the UFC would screw him over as quickly and as hard as they could and might even take the trilogy off the table. They DONT want Nate to be more relevant to the fans than Conor McGregor and I don’t care what they say.

It's a joke how much ufc fighters make. They should be getting paid waaayy more then they do.

Now think about how much football players make. Literally hundreds of millions and they have 0 risks. Its such a joke.
@alpacapines85535 жыл бұрын
@@aalldldakekjs8981 they get concussions and severe injuries playing football, this clown said Bellator, who can't even book Rory 3 fights a year, and Rizin, which has a small amount of shows per year, would pay him more than UFC. Its true Bellator seem to pay 45% of their revenue to their fighters, but it doesn't always equal making lots of bank because they don't really book many name fighters in one night.
@Infinite-zero9015 жыл бұрын
@@alpacapines8553 No you the clown. I said I think it's an opinion. Alot of UFC fighters get paid next to nothing. Chances is boxing pays better.

great, great vido pausing the clip, it's crazy the lack of money that the fighters get. the ufc needs more competition to get the talent higher salaries

Dustin was never injured, he was told by the ufc to say that so they could call off the fight. They were afraid Dustin would lose and they’d have nobody to fight khabib.
