Imagine this. How did the New York Central had merged with the Norfolk and Western along with the New Haven railroad. In 1956 The Pennsylvania merged with the Chesapeake and Ohio,provided that. The New Haven would become a independent Railroad by 1966 period with merging with the Central New Jersey and the Reading,Leighy Valley would merger with Penn Chessie,Erie merged with the Canadian National to the much anger of Teamsters leader Jimmy Hoffa.
