IMO Power Rangers is getting harder to make for Bandai as the Sentai footage is becoming harder to use. Sentai is willing to take artistic risks with their storytelling and that doesn’t always equal to the more straightforward teens/young adults coming together to save the world stories of Power Rangers.

Hasbro now own Power Rangers. Bandai hasn't been part of the brand since March 2018. Also, the Sentai has been harder to adapt BECAUSE Toei knew they were stopping adaptations. This is why they've suddenly become much more experimental and done things the west struggle to replicate. They're no longer having to consider what appeals to the majority of Western audiences, now.
