@ariellewilson730 Жыл бұрын
I agree. I'm Christian and I don't look down to those who commit suicide, despite that it is a sin in Christianity belief. A lot - not all Christians - will turn their nose up to those who killed themselves. Believe it or not, anyone who'd killed themselves do feel awful for what they did, knowing they can't go back. You may come a Christian who says their sorry when they heard someone commit suicide but aren't actually sorry. It's a harsh truth in the Christian community and I'm not one of them. Not only that, there are Christians who are truly sorry for those who committed suicide but won't tell anyone it's a sin so they won't upset anyone else around them. I don't hate people who committed suicide, I hate how suicide exist in our world. And I wish it wasn't a sin. ...sorry for giving my beliefs... It had to be said. Don't hate me for being a Christian because not all them are bad. And I truly feel awful for those who killed themselves and refuse to put them in a guilt trip, even though it's a sinful thing to do. If someone tries to tell me to look down on them, I'll say that they don't feel sorry for those who died from not doing suicide, but rather died from cancer, illness, or anything. Again, I apologize for giving out my beliefs, and I repeat, don't hate me for it. 😞

It's hard for me to watch the original series and many others after watching the source material. JDF was a good person, but he made the other rangers seem useless. If you haven't seen any of the Super Sentai series, then you won't know how differently the roles were portrayed for American audiences. The White and Green Rangers were barely used for certain reasons of the story, but the rest of the team was able to get by on their own with only a minor assist from their sixth members. Red Zeo was the closest to the source of Ohranger 5, but there was still more chances for the other rangers to shine.

Reminds me of the original yellow ranger actor for any Super Sentai or Power Rangers show, Baku Hatakeyama. He famously played as Daita Oiwa/Kirenger from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger (Star Rangers in the English dub done by the Philippines) as the engineer and muscle of the Gorengers in the 70s. He ended up in a situation like JDF and hung himself months after the production of JAKQ Vs Gorenger. In Super Sentai, the first ranger to ever die was Daigorou Kumano (Daita's temporary replacement in Gorenger), who was shot and stabbed to death by the Black Cross Army on a solo mission.

It may be me misremembering the interview with David Yost but I am fairly certain he said the rest of the cast was supportive of him. It was the crew, directors and producers that were horrible to him, I may have misinterpreted what he said of am misremembering it. The whole Magna Defender's kid dying in front of him is also an over simplification, back then Sentai footage was used way more extensively than it has been in recent years as well as story lines (with the exception of Samurai's watered down version of the Super Sentai's story lines which was actually kind of nice IMO) as such a lot of elements that probably wouldn't have been thought of by western tv makers made it over even the idea of a child playing a ranger isn't an American idea as this very thing happened with Kiba Ranger in Gosei Sentai Dairanger (AKA the White MMPR so when you see him jumping up and down acting like a 2 year old sometimes, well), it is because BullBlack's child died in front of him that Magna Defender's child unfortunately met an untimely end, these themes while they may seem more adult and controversial to us are much more common place in Japanese TV because the culture is completely different. Also Thuy's name is pronounced Twee as in Tree but with a W instead of an R. To everyone we lost though may they find solace in the fact they made millions of children (and adults, yes, my parents used to watch it with me on occasion and even I at 34 still enjoy watching it) happy and they will be truly missed, whether they are with us or passed on Once a Ranger Always a Ranger. The divorce was because their daughter died, and jason was unfortunately the one who found her body. They couldn't handle losing a child and snapped, unfortunately at each other. This is what happens when you have a huge cast, over a period of decades. It's not a curse, it's just life by numbers. You really do crippling depression a huge misservice by calling it "sadness." Sadness is a normal emotion, if we didn't feel Sadness at some point, we wouldn't be human. Suicidal ideation & depression is not Sadness. That's like calling a completely shattered leg a broken toe.

I blame #TammyFrank for Jason’s death. Divorce papers were released. She wanted to take Everything from him. He wrote her out of his will before his death so she wouldn’t get anything. He left everything to his kids. Tammy was also verbally and physically abusive to Jason.

That makes Jason David Frank's death even more dark.
@fullgetsu4171 Жыл бұрын
I believe the tipping poinr of Jason's depression was the passing of both his and Tammy's daughter due to suicide herself, it devastates a father who loses a daughter to the point of no return
@Jeezes718 Жыл бұрын
According to several of their friends and family, that isn't true. The story that's been circulating was made up by tmz because they wouldn't interview them. Several people who witnessed some of what tmz claimed happened have come forward and said they were lying. According to people who actually knew them, they were getting a divorce because their daughter shayla died of a drug overdose, which tmz lied about saying it was suicide. When she died, they took in her son, their grandson, but shortly afterward, they were sued by shaylas ex, who they didn't trust with the baby, for custody. The two began to more or less self-destruct because neither could handle the situation, and both blew up at each other. However, another detail tmz lied about is allegedly at the time of Frank's death the 2 had called off the divorce because they wanted tonsave their marriage. Unfortunately, Jason had been suffering from depression ever since thuy Trang and his brother Eric Ray Franks died close to each other, and then a few years ago, his mom died. This, coupled with the fact that he was the one who found their daughters body after she died, was too much for him.

16:47 Fun little fact. 4 years prior to Turbo, the Japanese Gosei Sentai Dairanger(the origin of the White Ranger and the Thunder Zords) cast Hisashi Sakai as Kou of the Howling New Star(KibaRanger, or the White Ranger). He was also only 12 years old at the time of his casting as KibaRanger. I know, Japan has different rules and such. But it's an interesting note that these two actors, even though from different series entirely, were the same age at the time of their respective casting.

I hated how everything went to Tommy in the series. He took over the original team with his White Ranger form while the other rangers only got Zords instead of a full power-up to handle greater enemies. This was a problem with Dairanger being darker than its predecessor Zyuranger and the inclusion of a green new green ranger mixed with the Drunken Fist fighting style of the Yellow Ranger meant a lot of things had to be cut. Sadly, the actor who potrayed the green Dairanger also committed suicide after experiencing emotional issues.

No one seems to be reporting this correctly. Ricardo Medina Jr didn't commit murder, he defended his girlfriend from his roommate who was trying to attack her. He was forced to use the sword, and that's why he was later released as the murder charges were dropped, because it was manslaughter at worst, and self defense/defense of someone else at best.

This is not a curse. The series has been running for a long time and had many actors, which means that there are also negative things in the life of the actors. I didn't know about David Yost, it's pretty sad that he was treated so badly because he's gay. He clearly didn't deserve that. And the story with the blue Turbo Ranger. I certainly don't understand. He was the age of the target group, actually all Power Rangers should have been that age. It used to annoy me that people who look so old are supposed to be teenagers.
@59771006 Жыл бұрын
“Yost has since revealed that it was due to harassment and insults from his fellow cast members” Not true at all David got along great with his fellow cast members the harassment and insults came from people who worked behind the camera (producers, writers and directors) one producer Scott Page-Pagter said that David left because of a salary dispute but I think he said that for the two reasons first of all he said it to cover up what really happened and secondly it would surprise me at all if he was one of the ones who called David a F-A-G-G-O-T and of course he wasn’t going to admit it so he decided to say that David left because of a salary dispute
