I think it would be great if Rain gets his own chapter in the MK1 story mode DLC as he tries to redeem himself and maybe even become a good guy.

lol I commented the same thing!! I’m hoping he has a Bi-Han MK Mytholgies style redemption arc only more elaborate than Bi-Han’s of course!

I mean we need bad guys… as long as mileena goes back to villain then rain can redeem himself. Like at this point y’all want everyone to become good guys. 😂 mileena rain Tanya. Bruh at this rate we’ll only have quan chi, Shang and shao as villains

@@eclipses3131 Shao, Shang, Quan, Reiko, Nitara, Havik, Sub, Ermac kinda, Takeda maybe, and whoever they add in the story DLC. We have plenty of bad guys.

@@eclipses3131he's already repentant after the events of his arcade ending. Ship's kinda sailed on him continuing to be an antagonist whether he gets a playable chapter or not

I like Rain . An underrated character. I think his best design is between his MK9 and his MK11 design.

I like Rain, but a part of me wish he could be a new main antagonist in a new MK game or movie. Despite not being major like Shang Tsung and Shao, Rain at least shows how cool of a henchman he turned out to be.

I'm just going to say it. Our current Rain has the better deal. Happy childhood yes but no Argus to screw him over. Let's see if he still on the right path since he does regret his actions.

I feel like they wasted Seido way too damn early for this new timeline. Like the New Republic in The Force Awakens. Would have liked to see some cool Orderrealm stages for the next game or two that aren't in ruins. Something we've gotten none of since NRS took over.

I can imagine a twist in MK1 where the Elder Gods are the bad guys because instead of being the Elder Gods, they'll be feared as the Elder Beings which leads to the One Being becoming the hero in this scenaro.

The only good thing that came out of MK1 is Rain's character. At least his latter ending. I like the idea of Rain being a villain with a heart. And is able to become a slightly better person after his failings.

I thought it would be cool if he was secretly the Son of King Jerrod, a child he had before his arranged marriage to Sindel potentially unknown to him. So that Rain would actually be a "Prince" which would have made him the actual heir to the throne, not Mileena. He was on my radar for possibly being the who murdered King Jerrod in this timeline.

I have a theory that Ermac captured Frost soul in MK1, chapter 6 after Ashrah defeats Ermac, listen to his we are Ermac quote, when he says destroy it sounds like Frost's voice. It's possible because immediately after, Jerrod took over for a second and it was Jerrod's voice not Ermac's. Or maybe that's a reach but either way it don't sound like Ermac's voice when he said destroy.

I wish instead of a mage they made Rain Sindel's seneschal and spymaster so he can retain his ninja identity, I feel like making him a mage was a bit unnecessary. Maybe he is also a bit older and more mature and perhaps along the way loses his faith in Sindel's rule. Maybe he feeds secrets to Tanya and how dramatic would it be if your spymaster is against you and your Empire, someone who knows your innermost secrets it would create a lot of tension and stakes. Again I feel like with MK1 some characters veer too far from who they were while not taking advantage of the new setups. I feel like villainous characters like Rain could have a more anit-hero angle and again I feel Tanya should've been in a similar situation where she is redeeming herself for Mileena but believes that the life of an Umgadi isn't meant for her and seeks her freedom which leads her to betray the royals. Rain could've had a relatable reason as to why he went against Sindel. Also his older costumes are vastly superior to MK1's.
