When Cane Creek Park in Waxhaw was expensive, My Pops and I would go there as a fishing alternative. No crowds, googans, etc. Caught more perch than crappie there but did catch some fine blue cats there as well.

I was at the access right below cedar creek dam today. I found what looks like a cornerstone for a building. There are 4 threaded studs coming out of the concrete block, one on each corner. They are very rusted studs, and some are bent over, like thay were smashed with a hammer, or something. The hill beside it is flat, and there are stones in the hill, like a wall. The area between the stone wall and the cornerstone is flat. The cornerstone is concrete, you can see the layers, or lines formed by the form. Are you familiar? I can take you there. Brad.
