TerrasClip After three months all key region locks on Steam expire. For example: you can buy an uncut Wolfenstein key in Germany and activate it on Steam. After that, Steam will kindly remind you that the game you‘ve just activated is not available in Germany and that you won’t be able to download or play the game (which is true for the first three months). @@kummakummakummakummakummac8606 GTA Online is the only thing which would clearly make GTA V the better game, but purely comparing single player would make the argument much closer. The story for Sleeping Dogs was kick ass and most of the characters were better and more likeable than the ones in GTA V because none of them were amoral superhumans with super abilities like in GTA V. While Sleeping Dogs had good looking cars, the guns, driving and customization were better in GTA V, but Sleeping Dogs probably had the better story, voice acting and hand to hand combat. While GTA V had a huge map, Sleeping Dogs had the better overall theme than GTA V because it really felt like the real Hong Kong - characters spoke in Cantonese, things like rubbish bins, taxis and double deckers made it way more immersive than San Andreas and Los Santos, both of which are completely fictional. Sleeping Dogs did some things better than GTA V. The argument over Sleeping Dogs and GTA V single player should be considered a stalemate, which is impressive considering Sleeping Dogs only runs on a single disc, while GTA V on the Xbox 360 needed installations and long loading times, I'm sure everyone can agree it's a damn shame there's no sequel for Sleeping Dogs, at least for now.

I've been replaying the game after a long time, and I forgot how spectacular this game is. It's a halfway between realistic and arcade-y (in the best ways possible), the combat is always fun, the music, voice, and sound is outstanding, the occasional humor is effective and not annoying or intrusive, and the graphics and setting is very authentic. I was scared it wouldn't hold up, but it stands up perfectly today.

This game changed my life. I loved it so much that I took up kungfu classes right away. Even though I had a simple job as a candymaker, I saved all my money so I could live in HongKong for a month. Which made me realize how well they translated the feel of the city. The Chinese style beats in the soundtrack inspired me immensely with my own music. I finished the main story five times, and twice 100% completion. This game is an absolute masterpiece, and I'm so grateful that it exists.

Played it for the first time a couple months ago. I was blown away by what I was missing. One of the best games I've ever played, definitely, and one of the games that made me more immersed. I'd actually have a routine with Wei Shen, waking up, drinking tea, do something work related, eating something, then doing something gang related, go to sleep... It's crazy how invested I got in living inside this game.

@@xillerrz7328 Dude, if you played Sleeping dogs you know how OP Wei is. He defeated Triads best assassin while having his legs drilled, toes destroyed, dehydrated and malnourished. Oh and before he fought him he had to defeat around 50 triads and 2 of his personal bodyguards in spa. Also gameplay wise, Wei can counter any attack and can heal his health back via Face meter, also one of his outfits blocks 75% damage done to him, while tea buff for total of 90% damage blocked. As much as I like Kiryu or Majima, Wei would stand solid chance against them, Weis style is basically Rush on steroids, he would have to hit him in back or on ground to hurt him.
@xillerrz73283 жыл бұрын
@@ExtremeMan10 If you have played Yakuza 5 and Kiwami 1 (Spoilers) You would know that Kiryu has fought so many with wounds such as gunshot wounds. Kazuma is known to have a lot of stamina and more experience then Wei. Gameplay wise kiryu can also counter just like wei. Kiryu easily has a lot of experience in using weapons his heat moves and go deadly on Wei. Now im not saying Wei is garbage. He isn"t and he definitely has a chance against Kiryu, its not impossible I can agree on that.
@ExtremeMan103 жыл бұрын
@@xillerrz7328 The wounds in Kiwami were done for sake of Majima everywhere, in original Yakuza 1, Kiryu could get destroyed by dudes with katanas, it was meme around that time. The counters, if you mean Tiger drop, needs person to attack in order to perform it, Wei just needs to stand still and do counters, as Kiryu cant Tiger drop counters(reference: Majimas breaker style in kiwami, when he does the heel spin kick after you try to spam him). Wei can do 360 counter easily, all he needs to do is wait for Kiryu to hit and counter, thats all. Im not talking about lore wise combat, but gameplay wise, in story and all Kiryu is portrayed as badass and unkillable, but compare it to normal gameplay, Kiryu is squishy and cant do much in hands of unexperienced player. Wei on other hand, can perform total chad moves and style in hands of even disabled person, the fact he can take out anyone with his knee-to face combo and counter just by pressing E shows how unfair that would be to Kiryu. Also side note, Wei was kicked out of San Francisco for being too "brutal" to his victims and he managed to make Big Smile Lee bleed(in documents it was said he is tough dude rarely gets hurt in combat) so trust me, he would make Kiryu feel pain.

I got Sleeping Dogs on a whim when I bought my PS3 and was looking for starter games on the console. I binge-played it in about two days, then played it again because I found its storyline, graphics and controls to be engrossing and a welcome break from so many other GTA clones you'd mentioned. When I heard SD2 was in development, I was stoked for the possibility of seeing where Wei-Shen's story went next. Such a shame it was scuttled due to Square's micromanagement of UFG. If I ever see a Kickstarter for a true version of SD2, I'll be backing it for sure. As it is, I have Sleeping Dogs for my PS4 now, and I play it every year. Well done video, GVMERS.
