I think it might've been cooler if Springer killed Starscream in DOTM instead of Sam. It could play out like he was helping NEST soldiers deploy outside the Sears Tower. But as soon he sees screamer, he forces his passengers to bail. He's not quick enough to save the first transport but bodyslams Starscream mid-air before he could get another Osprey. He could then get into a prolonged brawl with the winged demon before finally putting an end to his terror and ending him. He could then fly away and help cover the NEST soldiers

Springer being an Osprey would've been amazing to see to see in the film. Not only that, but he also makes way more sense for helping the Autobots get to Egypt opposed to Jetfire just teleporting there. It really gives you insight how unfortunately rushed the film was during its initial production, which meant that many of the concepts that were on the cutting room floor sadly had to be left out, and essentially robbed us of what could've been a sequel that was just as good (if not better) than the first.

IIRC the movie was written during the DGA and SAG Strikes so it was likely that it was rushed along. Apparently it used a "Scriptment" (a treatment with elements of a script) that was esuted by bay himself, which probably explains why it's just so haphazard, scattered, and different in tone compared to the first one.

You gotta give it to Michael Bay, it sounds like he actually enjoyed the franchise in his hands. Tho not to g1 accuracy, he had a blast using a massive arsenal of vehicles and think something we’ve all done before when looking at a one, “that’ll make a damn fine robot”. I doubt we’ll get wild realistic vehicles like these in our collection for a long while.

1:57 I always loved this design as it looks pretty good as far as bayformer design go. With it's huge statue, forearm roto-blades, hind-legs pistons and shoulder missile launchers gives the impression that this Cybertronian is a highly-skilled warrior that works closely with nest as evidence by his alt-mode, the Osprey, a Tricopter vechicle made to transport troops from the air to their intended location. Making him useful in carrying Nest troops to locations with Decepticon activity. Since it looks like the Autobots are going to originally have a Helicopter bot antithesis Blackout and Grindor.

It would've been cool to see Osprey in Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen. He would've been a force to be reckon with on the battlefield. And seeing Mixmaster as an automotive would've been an awesome seen. Seeing Osprey fight off Starscream in Dark of the Moon would've been awesome as well. And due to Osprey being bigger, Starscream would've gotten his but kicked by him and retreated with more than just a couple of serious wounds

He might've had more of a chance of surviving since he had a flight mode, but then again, going off of how AOE turned out, the writers might've just killed him off screen or let him survive but just never show him again like some of the other Autobots that survived Cemetery Wind.

I love chicken-legged mechs so I'm sad that Springer wasn't brought to life on the silver screen like Tacit Ronin and ED-209. I presume that he was cut because Jetfire's massive engines looked cooler on a resurrected Optimus Prime than Springer's smaller Osprey engines. Besides, Springer's engines are his forearms. Optimus would look like a psychopath if he's resurrected with a pair of his dead friend's arms dangling in his back.

I actually think that springer was in the films, I just think he was one of the ospreys from TLK, because it was right next to the main autobot gang or behind Drift at 4:59 or it could be possible that he was in the films and secretly appeared in dark of the moon like your earlier astrotrain video as the subway train (amazing video btw)or maybe the osprey that carries Cade Yeager, or that other Osprey that was flying next the hound and Bumblebee, it could mean he was in the films, but thats up to the theorymus to decide

hey theorymus, just thought i’d pop in and share something really cool i noticed in the transformers 2 forest battle scene, when optimus goes over starscream, optimus throws his sword at grindor which hits him in the leg, if you wanna notice, look at grindors left leg during that scene

I have another potential reason for going with teleportation over a single Osprey: how would Bee and the Twins have gotten to Egypt? An Osprey can carry quite a few humans, sure, and even smaller bots like Wheelie, but not a single car-sized Autobot, much less three. So they decided the Bots could teleport there with Jetfire... but if he can teleport Autobots, why not humans as well? Springer's primary purpose became unfortunately null.

question for theorymus can a transformer just gain the ability to fly like can they scan a aircraft and suddenly be able to fly can a transformer get extra limbs like bonecrusher did he originally had 2 arms? if a transformer is a flying bot and they scan a ground vehicle can they change the ground vehcile in a way to fly so become a triple changer? can transformers(if lost enough parts) use parts of other vehicles like human vehicles ( and not using parts of other transformers) and use it on their own body so they lost an arm and that arm was the hoodthe right wheel axis and the the bottom right side of the car can the transformer take those exact parts and put it on themselves and use it? if a transfromer loses a vital piece of their vehicles parts so like a part of the engine or the brakes can they still use there vehicle mode as usual like can they still brake and drive even though they dont have the engine nor the brakes i know bots dont require the ability to breath but ccan they suddenly become a underwater transformer and how long can a transformer get so like they scan a train will the bot have to grow to fit that size? can transformers suddenyl get superweapons like the mixmaster clone can they rip off that weapon from the clone and use it fix it to themselves can transformers gain weight? like hound is it hes personality or did he choose it to be like that? and can they lose it so like lets say if blackout scanned the vehicle that grindor scanned will he get smaller or will hes vehicle mode get bigger? and can transformer significantly compress there vehicle mode parts ( as an example dont take this as a cannon or soemthing0 so like lets say blackout can he compress hes vehicle mode and turn into a much much smaller helicopter so like a news helicopter or something

I would love for him to be in dark of the moon especially during the sky fight were the nest soldiers are flying out but their jets and planes are shot out of the sky by starscream. welcome to a what storyline were events in the story are changed. Chapter 1 skybound we see the autobots and sam fighting the decepticons in the city but they are quickly overwhelmed and taken prison. We then cut to major lennox and his team of nest soldiers getting ready to enter the city by sky diving but then one of the other jets are shot of the sky by starscream and he has his sights on Lennox. But before he can get to our heroes he is pushed out of the away by another osprey then Lennox hears a voice coming from his radio saying don't worry guys I got your back. We then see that this mysterious osprey is one of the new autobot flyers springer. Chapter 2 sky chase we then see springer break away from the others and go after starscream in a awesome sky fight. We see them flying around buildings and firing at each other but thanks to his superior size and skill he is able to get the upper hand and kill starscream by cutting his head and arm off with his roto blades. He then hears that the autobots have been taken prison so he transformers back to his osprey mode and goes to help them. Chapter 3 reinforcement we see soundwave had just killed wheeljack and was about to kill bumblebee but then one of the decepticon ships were shot out of the sky causing it to fall near soundwave distracting him long enough for bumblebee to get free along with the other autobots. Then after a brutal hand to hand fight bumblebee finally kills soundwave by blasting his chest open. Then he looks to the sky and sees his fellow autobot springer then they get word that optimus is fighting sentinel on the bridge and needs backup so they rush to help him. Chapter 4 showdown while the autobots and the nest soldiers are fighting the decepticons we see optimus and sentinel in a brutal and epic fight. Then more of those decepticon ships show up and fire at optimus but then they are shot out of the sky by springer then he stays back and helps his autobot friends while optimus goes after sentinel. Then after the battle is over we see the autobots and nest have won and defeated the decepticons. While optimus has finally killed sentinel and megatron and the day was saved but now we move to age of extinction with new threats but with springer here how will this change the story. ❤👍

Tf AOE Chapter1 we see the autobots are being hunted by a new bounty hunter named lockdown and his not alone a new human group called centry wind is helping him. We then change to optimus and his new human friends Cade and Tessa along with her boyfriend shane. They had just escaped centry wind and lockdown thanks to optimus but unfortunately their friend lucas was killed by lockdown during the escape and they don't have time to moran the lost they need to find the other autobots. Chapter2 we now see optimus has regrouped with what is left of the autobots in the desert. We get introduced to the team hound the weapon specialist, drift the ninja and the last is crossfire the one who likes explosives and bumblebee the scout of the group. Then while optimus is introducing his human friends to the autobots they hear the sound of roto blades then Cade looks in the sky and sees an osprey flying towards them but optimus tells them it's ok that's an old friend. Then the osprey transformers into springer the autobot flyer and transported for equipment. Then we see the autobots around a campfire looking over the footage of the ksi drone cade was able to grab during the escape. They see centry wind and lockdown hunting the remaining autobots including the wreckers they are horrified but now know who is behind this the ksi company so with that the autobots ride out for kis headquarters in the city while springer follows from the sky. Chapter3

I think your Cut Characters playlist is out of order, as Arcee and the Third Twin videos are mixed up. Additionally, the Transit video is absent as he too is a cut character.

Hey, Theorymus. I know you read your comments, and that you take them into consideration.. but I want you to read this. I’ve always wondered where Sam and his family, etc were when transformers became illegal on earth? Since we don’t really get any confirmation. I don’t watch your channel as much as I used to.. so I don’t know if you already made a video on this, but my peanut brain can’t really make too much theories, so it would be great if you could explain it!
