I'm quite fond of the Odyssey-class and the Enterprise-F in particular. DeviantArt has some amazing renders of it. One of them even has the Enterprise-F finding the Enterprise-B in a nebula somewhere. Can't wait for THAT story! 😃

Its really fundamentally similar to the Sovereign class overall, but I do like how the Odyssey returns to the smoother and more streamlined, less angular design motifs present in the aforementioned Sovereign, which made the bottom of the ship a bit too busy imo, and also the return of the brighter white/grey hull which better contrasts with the black stripes, which I personally think looks quite eye catching, although the refit they just unveiled I think is starting to go a bit too crazy with the black stripes' prominence.

If I may offer some advice.. I would suggest practicing reading the script out loud a few times before recording, so that it doesn't sound like you're attempting all those strange names for the very first time. It'll flow much nicer and sound much more natural that way. Other than that, its a pretty entertaining and informative video. Keep it up :)

This was done to clear up a little bit of Cannon. A lot of people consider only what was on the screen as Cannon. As such the enterprise-f does not exist at all. However some people feel Star Trek Online is canon, and some if not all of the books are Canon. We are just trying to cover all the bases.😎👍

Personally I was hoping that the enterprise F was going to be a prometheus class battle cruiser I had dreams of the new enterprise using the multi Vector assault mode from the USS Prometheus but I guess that wasnot to be in star trek online but I still hold out the hope that it may still happen in Star Trek:Picard.

No it is not all cannon, in fact non of it could be cannon. As far as I know the books are never cannon, and the rest of the information comes from the video game, witch I dont think is cannon. God Bless you too Brother!

It's an excellent game with expansive storytelling.... Though it's a MMO, you don't really need to play with others, but some missions do had that nice touch with another player

Erik Charles I love how the design of the discovery was rejected by Gene Roddenberry himself as the second Enterprise. They pulled the design of that stupid ship out of the garbage why couldn't they have come up with something themselves or at least something that was contemporary to the time

I hate to nitpick, but you mispronounced MANY of the terms in this video. 'Elachi' is pronounced exactly as it looks like it should be, 'Eh-lah-chee'. The first Dyson Sphere is pronounced as, 'Sole-ah-nae'. You didn't do too badly on Bortasqu', aside from the brief pause in the middle of pronouncing it. You completely forgot to pronounce Undine with the 'n' in it. The race's name is pronounced as 'Oon-deen'.

One of the Enterprise F"s that you left out appeared in the episode of TNG where Picard was living in 3 different times. The Enterprise F in that episode was commanded at the time by Admiral Riker. In my opinion since that ship appeared in an episode of the show that it is canon.

Greetings Travis, I believe the episode is all good things and it was the last episode of next-gen. The future Enterprise that Admiral Riker was commanding was the enterprise-d heavily modified. In that time timeline the D wasn't destroyed Star Trek Generations, and then was refitting for the upcoming Klingon Wars. I believe you can see the D on the saucer section in the episode of the future Enterprise, but I'm not sure. Have a good weekend!☺

The Enterprise F is very cool but starting with the F, all should have 4 Nacells from there on. Starfleet let Earth be destroyed? Sounds like some poor planning. Especially since they were at war with them and knew they had a Planet Killer weapon. I can think of alot of other people I would rescue first before Troy. If her mothet was still alive I bet she had something to do with it.

The data for the Enterprise F came from Star Trek online. The Enterprise from Nemesis was the enterprise-e. Not sure what Simon's Cat is.

If the Odyssey class USS Enterprise NCC-1701-F was created in 2409?! This would make it an early 25th century starship not a 24th century starship as you incorrectly stated it is within this video. For example, the current year is 2018 and this is known as the 21st century, not the 20th century! How could you miss this integral part? LOL! An honest mistake perhaps? ;-) Like McKaz Gaming suggested, you should record your voice and do some practice rehearsals and/or have your friends critique you prior to uploading and publishing your voice to your KZbin channel. Granted, Star Trek techno-babble might be challenging, but if you are a Trekkie loyalist rather than a newbie, this techno-babble speak-ease should be second nature to you, sir. A absolutely uninspired, ugly and lazy ship design. Also for an organization dedication to peaceful exploration Starfleet seems to be locked in an endless series of conflicts and flat out wars. It really just paints them as wrong at this point, even from a logical sense if you are going to meet a new big bad every fucking year that you are going to have to have some big battle showdown with you have to start building warships by the dozen. Its like the federation is trying to make itself believe its anything but a military with endless foes.

Imzadi was my favorite Star Trek Novel, it had a great story, and the way Peter David writes, its like watching an episode. I think its funny that in multiple universes Deanna Troi dies along the way, All good things, imzadi, and the DS9 Millennium novels.

Omega Ordained ... yeah, it was a love story for a TNGer for a man or woman, ties to TOS and one of my favorite episodes "City on the edge of forever" , with a good else-worlds plot-line. Worth the read. Now, Imzadi II (imnsho) was a disappointment.

Omega Ordained ... I didn't, but have no reason to doubt you, and it wouldn't surprise me. A much better way for them to cash in would have been to have Imzadi II not be a bad read. On a sidebar... Not a fan of the debacle that is the JJA, Kelvin time-line movies. It was fine to "relaunch", but in not in JJA infection. It has its moments, thanks to the actors, but IMO, the premiss is flawed, so the story is unworkable. I wanted to like the reboot, but JJA is known for taking other people's ideas and projects, and infecting it to make it his own. Do you like it? And why? :-)

Greetings mark sorry I didn't see your comment until now. I grew up on next-gen so the reboot in the JJ's way didn't affect me too much. I did however love the original Star Trek movies and have watched them a million times 10 million times for Star Trek 2 I can quote every line in the movie. I like the reboots but there's definitely a lot missing from them. Like the companionship that the original crew members had for each other wasn't there for the reboots. I also don't think the new reboots have the rewatchability that the original ones have I can pop in Star Trek 6 or two or three any day of the week for a good time. Three boots I think I've seen each a movie twice maybe. I did love the sound distortion frequency from the last movie I thought that was pretty cool. Like you said the new reboots have their moments but can't compare to the original movies.
