Ba'al was definitely my favorite.

Baal is a close second for me. My favorite is Apophis, he had the biggest character development. We got to see him on top, then on the bottom, then crawl his way back to the top and then die it was awesome!😎👍

@@OmegaOrdained True. I liked Apophis. But I thought Ba'al had a little more depth to his character (or at least a really smug sense of humor). I particularly liked the scene in Continuum were Ba'al killed Apophis then asked: "was that just off the top of your head ?". There were a lot of other amusing Goa'uld who didn't hold the status of system lord. I wish we got to see more of Nerus. He was hilarious. But Ba'al was probably my favorite. Cliff Simon played him particularly well.

I've recently revisited SG too. Mostly thanks to Omega Mans excellent channel. It really holds up well. Even the sets are great by todays standards.

Osiris was removed from it's host by the Tok'ra. Thought they killed them during that process.

If the gods are system lords, then we have a boatload of system lords that havent even been introduced, such as thoth for example. Also, the reason of what anubis has done to be banished by the other system lords for being to evil hasnt been brought up.

It's my understanding that most of the system lords posed as Earth's gods on Earth, and decided to adopt those persona's even after they left. This would explain why there are far less system lords shown, compared to the number of gods that exist in the mythologies they appear in. That, or another theory could be not all of the gods were system lords, as the Asgard and Vanir were from a completely different race, it wouldn't be too surprising to learn some of the gods in Egyptian mythology may not be of Goa'uld origins.

The stories of the gods existed before the Goa'uld showed up. Few, if any, were the original source of those stories. The Goa'uld simply took advantage of them.

Raw was not killed by the Terry he was killed by the Abydonians in Abydos and specifically the Stargate team from Cheyenne mountain, i.e. (NORAD). Amaterasu, it's pronounced (Ah maw ter raw sue).
