MBT summons Colossal Fighter. Then he summons Armory Arm. He equips Armory Arm to Volcanic Rocket boosting its attack to 2900. He then crashes his Colossal Fighter into the Rocket and it dies. Since the target of Armory Arm destroyed a monster by battle and sent it to the graveyard, Cimo takes Colossal Fighter's attack as damage. Colossal Fighter was destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, so you can target a warrior in either graveyard and special summon it. MBT picks Colossal Fighter, special summons it, crashes it into the Volcanic Rocket again, deals 2800 damage again, and continues to do that until Cimo is dead. I had to go and check when Armory Arm was errata'd to prevent this OTK, and it looks like it was August of 2011. So if they're in Edison, then this is technically legal to do. The errata'd version of this OTK would require 2 Colossal Fighters in rotation, because the errata of Armory Arm specifically states "Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's original attack *in the graveyard.* Since the destroyed Colossal Fighter would no longer be in the graveyard, it wouldn't deal damage, but if you had a second Colossal Fighter, then one Fighter could resurrect the other, stay in the graveyard to satisfy Armory Arm's effect to deal damage, and you could still continuously attack with a Colossal Fighter.

I had a black garden deck similar to this one, except it didn't have blaze accelerator. And my main payoff was Slifer the Sky Dragon. The black rose tokens let you tribute them, and if Slifer sticks, any monster summoned pretty much instantly dies, which turns off their monster plays. So unless they have spell or trap effects that can target and destroy slifer, and I Don't have a way to stop it at the time, it pretty much locks the game down. Slifer didn't really have to attack at this point, but as a control deck you often had a lot of cards in hand. (This is also assuming no removal to black rose garden, to a degree.)

fighter attacks rocket - Rocket destroys fighter - Armory triggers and does 2800 to cimo - fighter revives itself - rocket destroys fighter - armory triggers and does 2800 to cimo - rinse repeat until cimo has no more life. I think this is the interaction

when an armory arm-equipped monster destroys a monster by battle, it burns your opponent by the original atk of the destroyed monster, even if their monster is the one attacking. colossal fighter revives a warrior from the gy when it's destroyed by battle. CF can revive itself to crash again and again, burning the opponent for 2800 every time it does.

That requires reading the card. Something neither of them know how to do in history of Yugioh/Jank. Similarly… Cimo could have cleared the substitoad in game 2 as well by pitching a volcanic rocket.

Coelacanth was my first holo pull and since then I decided to make Fish a thing. My most recent Fish deck uses Coelacanth to summon Synchros, Xyz and Link depending of what is needed. My most powerful Fish deck caused the ban of Fishborg Blaster, the limit of Pot of Avarice, TG Hyper Librarian, Formula Synchron and other hits. People didn't like ten minutes first turns (but they are common now), that ended with me controlling two Shooting Quasar Dragon and drawing my entire deck including Exodia.

How would that interaction with Don Zaloog and Gorz work? Doesn't Gorz chain to the Don Zaloog's effect? Or is it because priority is still in effect, so that's why Don Zaloog happens first.

MBT should have been able to summon Gorz before Cimooooooo used Don Zaloog's effect. Don is CL 1 and Gorz would be CL 2.

really interesting games, i feel like there is a lot of depth for cimo and mbt to play around each other's decks. if you look at it one way, it seems like mbt's deck can stall and inevitably win, and on the other hand it seems like cimo can blank every combo that mbt attempts. really fun to watch

In the last game Armory Arm was not equipped to Colossal Fighter, but to Volcanic Rocket, making it 2900ATK. When Colossal Fighter attacks Volcanic Rocket and is destroyed as a result, Armory Arm will deal 2800 damage to Cimo, since the equipped monster has destroyed something in battle, and Colossal Fighter will Special Summon a Warrior from the GY, in this case itself. It is repeated until Cimo is dead.

This episode was amazing. Cimoooo forgetting accelerator says "Pyro monster" and not Shell, deciding to shuffle back all 3 shells instead of leaving one in grave to activate the effect

Blaze accelerator does have the 500 attack restriction, so he cannot use the rockets. But yeah he could have searched shells back after shuffling only two with avarice.

rose garden... possibly my favorite fieldspell :-D i played some kind of "Wind up rabbit" / "Evilswarm Thunderbird" / "Black Rose Garden" Control where you played the "jumpers" and immediatly switched out so your opponement didn't get a token so when they came back they had full atk. Pair this with ... i don't know the name of the trap (target one of your monsters and one from the opponement and shuffle them into the deck (or bounce them) anyway you could bounce your rabbit/thunderbird and still got the effect

Armory Arm equips to Cimo's Volcanic Rocket. Rocket now has 2900 ATK. MBT attacks into Volcanic Rocket with Colossal Fighter, which has 2800 ATK. Volcanic Rocket Destroys Colossal Fighter by battle, dealing 100 battle damage to MBT. Since a monster equipped with Armory Arm destroyed a monster by battle, Cimo takes damage equal to the destroyed monster's ATK, as per Armory Arm's effect. So Cimo takes 2800 LP in damage. When Colossal Fighter is destroyed by battle, he can target any warrior monster in your GY, including himself, and Special Summon it. So MBT revives Colossal Fighter. It is still the Battle Phase. So MBT attacks again with Colossal Fighter into Volcanic Rocket, taking 100 damage and dealing 2800 damage to Cimo. Then brings back Colossal Fighter. The loop repeats until Cimo is dead.

Yep. The OTK was ruled illegal. If you want to OTK with Armory Arm and Colossal Fighter, you need 2 Colossal Fighters; one in grave, then just cycle through them. Edit: I just checked, and Armory Arm was errata'd with the "destroyed monster's original attack *in the graveyard*" text in 2011, so this nonsense is still legal in Edison.

I was thinking the same thing but if I had to take a stab at it, his Colossal Fighter would die to Cimo's Rokket since it's 2900 with the Armory Arm attached, and due to Armory Arm's ability Cimo would take 2800 damage. Colossal Fighter's ability goes off which lets it retrieve a Warrior-type monster from the Graveyard and special summon it. Colossal Fighter is a Warrior-Type monster so it comes back into play. Still in the Battle Phase it can attack again, and so on.

Game 2 was game on board after cealocanth resolved. Fishborg+meister+metabo = colossal Revive fishborg, make armory with the other meister Equip armory to a rose token, since colossal is always halved Colossal into the rose token, burn, revive, etc until the end of the game. Shocked joseph didnt see that. Joseph also never brings his stardust back, so thats funny. EDIT: Actually, far more hilarious than him never resummoning it, is the fact that he made started using only 7 stars. Joseph was just not good this episode, huh

@@fn2025 The problem is that Coelacanth has a lot of potential weaknesses on top of being a two tribute monster, add that to the fact that it's the main win con of the deck in it's current state and the label of "jank" makes sense. Jank can play good cards and still be considered jank if the main objective lacks consistency and/or if the deck lacked representation.
