I think you'll love using it. I've had mine since April and have been out on 3-4 trips with it, most recently afixed in my truck bed rather than in a utility trailer. I have an OBS Powerstroke that is 4x4 so it sits a little higher, and what it's on a platform to elevate it over the wheel wells, so it's a bit taller to get in and out of. I usually keep a small 4' A-frame ladder with me, or just stand on the hitch attachment to get in. I find that it can get a little chilly in there without a proper blanket even though it is insulated. I went out in early Nov in WV and it got a little cold. Running a propane heater in there quickly mages too hot, so I often use it to preheat the interior or take the chill off are opening the door for a bathroom break in the middle of the night. I recently added a 200w ceramic heater to run off my 1500Wh power station that on an analog thermostat. The heater is on a small corner shelf and with magnets to hold it in place. I've also been able to run an AC on the outside and pipe the air in through the electrical port while leaving the unit under the camper in the bed in the space between the wheel wells. I keep it and the power station in a Jet Sled to protect from any rain that may show up and splash up on the sides. The Jet Sled also works great for moving firewood or storing other things I might be bringing with me. Look forward to seeing more videos and I will subscribe.

I'm eventually getting a Maverick and what I realized is with the flex bed you can lay a 4X8 sheet of plywood flat on the wheel wells and the top of the tailgate. So the regular Hitchhiker Solo would work on it. Also could have the power port put on the driver's side to plug into the in bed electric outlet that gives 400 watts. Could keep a Jackery or other solar generator topped off that way.

@@kennethkilpatrick3758 great input! I actually have power on both sides of my truck bed! Are you sure the regular solo wouldn’t be too high or too long?

It's a theory so far. You could probably look at your tailgate and see with it up at the angle for carrying plywood or sheetrock how far it would extend past the end of the tailgate. The regular Solo is 89" long. I was thinking of cutting the end off a sheet of plywood to 89" to serve as a base. I'm 6' 2" and wouldn't want it any smaller. That being said I'm also considering a teardrop trailer and your Maverick sized camper got me thinking of using it as an extra room for storage, a porta potty, etc. Maybe rig up some serious solar with a large battery and be able to run a cord from the teardrop when boondocking. Could get a combination like this done for considerably less than buying a most bigger RV trailers.
