Hi Mike, your camper came out awesome, well done! An option for the chimney to avoid branches yet also get a good draft when you have a fire in the stove, is to make a removable chimney extension that simply slides on and off. As an experienced off road traveler in Michigan, I find carrying a couple 5 gallon cans of spare gas very helpful, especially when you are alone.

This is the zaniest video I've ever watched. What a combo of true life characters. I loved every minute laughing and enjoying the overnight adventure. Forgetting the Mayo causes crazy things to happen. "The last thing you want to bring with you when off roading is your house". "Can you borrow me some gas?" Three wheeling in the rock crawler. This trip just kept on giving.

That's badass! Our camping trailer when I was a kid was very similar to that, but probably 10 years or so older. Lotsa good memories. The XJ looks a fair bit like mine too. I still have to do some clearance around the wheel wells and then get some flares that will catch the mud. Went 4 1/2 long arm lift and 33x12.5 MT's. By spring she should be ready for wheeling.
