This edited Ren introduction was great! We do miss you, and there is so much new stuff, AND he just sent a verse to Prof and wrote at least two songs with Chris Webby. There are two albums coming this year, or one demo and one album. One will be collaborations of the modern kind, and the other will be homage to those that came before. Loco on headphone is a scratch and massage for ADHD or ASMR-ready brains. It is brilliant! Perfect description of an ADHD mind in the lyrics as well.

Wicked ways and down on the beat are two of my favorites from the album for sure! Wicked. Ways might be my actual favorite if I had ti puck

It's weird how tastes differ, lol. Although I still like it, Wicked Ways is my least favourite track on the album. For me personally, it's the least interesting, least innovative and the closest to that sort of humdrum mainstream rap, that bores me to death. Luckily, there was enough of Ren in there to hold my attention but it remains, for me, the weakest track on the album. All of his pre-released tracks were fire. I suppose we've just become over-familiar with them and forget what stellar tracks they are. Lost All Faith and Masochist remain favourites. Of the 'new tracks, Sick Boi part 2 is my definite favourite! The lyrics are just incredible! As are his flows and delivery! ... and that BEAT! Fantastic track! Seven Sins and Uninvited are close behind, for very different reasons and Loco is an a cappella tour de force! No beats, no instruments. All Ren's voice! The lyrics are fun too! :)

Wicked Ways and Seven Sins are both great! You should also check out some of the recent stuff Ren put out. There is a Nas retake of Halftime, and a "Back On 74/Message In A Bottle" retake that is amazing. I think it's my favorite thing he's done in awhile. Good to see you guys doing Ren stuff. I apparently got unsubscribed (stupid youtube), so I resubbed today.

SO excited to see you back reacting to Ren! Definitely Ren's newer releases for your playlist - all very different. I highly recommend watching/listening to the original artists first to give you an even greater appreciation for how Ren put his own spin on them while staying true to their essence. Ren's 'Fred Again Mashup' (5 songs by EDM artist) is hauntingly beautiful and deeply moving. If you look closely, during Ren's singing of the last line he rests his right hand on his leg. He's visibly shaking from emotion. I think my newest favorite is Ren's live 'Back on 74/Message in a Bottle' Retake. (Jungle did the original - and The Police, of course). You will be blown away! Completely different from anything you've seen him perform. I won't spoil the surprise. There's also a BTS shorts compilation for it. Glad to have you back on Ren! 🙋‍♀️💖

Definitely Seven Sins if you ask me, that song is one of my all time favorites from Ren. But more Ren is for sure needed! And more you! Also because I know you guys enjoy Marvel and friends (especially Deadpool and Wolverine is highly relevant here) and I think you could really vibe with the group I rec 'Stray Kids - Chk Chk Boom' the mv. It just got released (19th of July). Stray Kids is a korean 8 member boy group but they produce their own music /write, compose, arrange, produce (which to their extent is very rare in the kpop industry, the company only doing the final touches and helping with arrangement and recording, tho they do their own recordings too) and like Ren their every song is a whole new experience and you never know what you will get. Most of the times it feels like there is multiple songs inside one song. The Chk Chk Boom is their title track from their new album. They also have couple superb rappers in their group. With ren and the songs sounding similar: i agree no 2 songs are alike but i can tell that each song can be put into a category. For example the money game series can be put in the same category as crucify your culture. Not because they sound alike but because theyre both political. Hi ren can be put into the same category as the tales trilogy cause theyre all bard style. Hunger and loco can be put in his rap category. So with ren you can easily put his various songs in categories (playlists) by what theyre about or their genre.
