You can tell he is a student of music - all music. First of all, just the switch ups - the old school style mixed with new flows. He even name drops Django Rhinehart (Belgian jazz guitarist (from the '30s I think)) and Leonard Cohen (Amazing Canadian poet and songwriter) which earns a tremendous amount of respect in my book - know your roots! Ren is the total package and has studied to absorb all that musical talent to make it into his own today. Let's go! I haven't been this hyped about a new artist since high school in the '90's when Grunge took the scene by storm! Edit - Oh - and the beatboxing just brings him up another notch. I've seen him scat as well in some live stuff. Crazy!

When you've heard the whole song once and all the flow switches making this Frankenstein of a song, that intro hits even harder. He really made a monster.

Absolutely. I have never been a rap fan and thought it was all about hoes and n----rs and popping caps in asses. Ren's form of rapping on the other hand is hypnotic. While I still may not be a rap fan I am definitely a Ren fan.
