Love the editing in this. Especially the part with the cello and the trash bags; the pacing and rhythm of that whole sequence was perfect. Even down to the little flashes of light in the background as we watch hope mess with the dolls. The whole thing is just so tightly controlled and gives just enough to really draw you in. Absolutely nailed it.

I have always loved making home movies with my siblings and friends but seeing you make a short film as impressive as this simply because you wanted to makes me so so happy! Incredible!!! So many subtle clues that really pay off and creep you out when you get what they mean; the RUN reappearing behind Mary was really effective instead of a full flashback and the ankle monitor just being there after the long still silence... very well done. I also enjoyed the budding friendship between the two mains: very cute and sweet; shame it couldn't last xD

Awesome scary movie! Loved the foreshadowing with Hope’s introduction even though it was a bit too funny like that scream she let out in the room with toys. But I’m just nitpicking and that’s all I can do because everything else was legit good and scary. Also, the music is great, really gets on your nerves! And the camerawork with all the interesting angles especially the one shot through the leaves - sooo cool! Thank you💖
