The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp: A Different Kind of Healing is an Emmy award-winning documentary that illustrates how the fun, acceptance and community of Camp programs break through the isolation of serious illness to provide a unique healing experience. It focuses on the evolution of Camp services and the "Camp-Around-Care" families receive through the story of four Camp families:
· Bennett: a nine-year-old boy recently diagnosed with a high-risk case of leukemia
· Danielle and Tesi'ah: two 16-year-old girls living with sickle cell disease, who formed a lifelong friendship after meeting at the Camp
· Daniel: a 15-year-old senior camper who lives with thalassemia, a chronic blood disease that requires monthly hospital visits and treatments
