I love the choice to tell the entirety of the 'king of the hole' event in the form of a narrative timelapse instead of the absolute chaos of the actual livestream. It really gives the feeling of the Wither and the deaths and revivals just being part of the overall story of the hole (a real sentence I just wrote).

Watching your live streams and seeing the hole dug out bit by bit kind of gave me a sense of normalcy for how the hole looked at any moment, especially since it's now completely dug out and you're building above it. When the video started with so many chunks still left to be dug at the beginning of the Villagers & Pillagers event, it really hit home just how much you've accomplished here. That's actually a mod, I think it's called something like Enhanced Explosions. I ended up installing it because fWhip sent me his replay mod footage for the event, and it was throwing me error messages if I didn't have the mod installed 😅

it was fWhip. I missed the stream,. but from the videos other people have released it was absolute chaos. all the teams were trying to prank and slow each other down, but his was definitely the one with the worst end result, killing a competitor, the event owner, and his assistant. XD

@@sikwilly45 Yeah, it's one thing to joke around and mess with the other competitors, especially when fWhip has a history of playing potentially deadly pranks and has stated he's trying to cause deaths in this server, and they didn't seem too surprised (their reactions were basically "oh, just fWhip setting off a wither to mess with us"). But yeah, Pix wasn't one of the intended victiims, so I 100% see why fWhip would feel a bit guilty over that. Also Pix is so chill and laid back compared to a lot of the more excitable folks that I always feel bad when something happens to him! He's generally cautious and careful, even when pranking others, so it really is bad luck when he ends up in trouble, whereas the more hyper ones kind of have it coming because they dive in headfirst. XD

Spawning a wither in someone's base and possibly ruining their project of weeks of hard work = not cool. Fortunately, it didn't damage the storage area or destroy the blocks for the second half of the build. Oh, and killed 3 people but I guess that part was intentional, can't let too many fate coins accumulate! 😂 Loved the cinematic timelapse of the event. Hope there's time to finish everything, can't wait to see the end result!

I made a three part tutorial on how to use the Replay Mod back in the days of Survival Guide Season 1! While the process to install it has changed because Fabric is a much more commonly used mod loader, the mod functions basically the same for capturing replays, setting keyframes and rendering the time lapse footage.

Hey Pix, maybe if time is too slim and you don't have enough time to do what you originally wanted to do with the machinery lifting the ground up, maybe you could just add some simple rockets on the bottom of the terrain, that way there is still an explanation as to why the terrain is lifting out of the ground
