How many times has a gate been cut into a wall??? Sagiv brought science and engineering logic to a conclusion with a plan. But politics in everything says his plan only pisses off everyone except people who step around politics to embrace a possible peaceful solution. Politics gets boxed up in logic. Except for the two men who promote war, anger, distress and political confusion. People aren’t really that ignorant but sometimes they choose wrongly. Thank you for this video. The first and second Temple wasn't on the site where the Dome of the Rock now sits. It was south of that location around the Givati car park. What is called the 'Temple Mount' today is actually a Roman Fort. It's exactly the dimensions of a Roman fort exactly as Josephus records. It's ironic that everyone fights over a pagan complex.

@Paula Wallace I confirm the Bible... "not one stone will be left upon another ". There is not a single line of text in the Bible that says the Temple was on the Dome of the Rock. That's a Roman fort
@alimaclean57774 жыл бұрын
@Paula Wallace I confirm both the Bible and history. The whole area of the old city of Jerusalem is Mount Moriah, in the Land of Moriah. The Temple was built at the spring of Gihon and at the walls of Ophel. There is more than one reference to the location of the Temple in the BIble. 2 Chronicles 33:14 Afterward he built an outer wall for the city of David west of Gihon, in the valley, and for the entrance into the Fish Gate, and carried it around Ophel, and raised it to a very great height. He also put commanders of the army in all the fortified cities in Judah. Mark 13 1-2 And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!” And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? *There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down* .” God would not let heathens build a mosque over his holy place. Not to mention the fact that the current Temple mount is the exact shape and dimension of a Roman fort. The Romans tore down the Temple completely and ploughed the ground afterwards so that nothing would remain. Plus, there's no water there for the Sacrifices. The Roman complex that the Dome on the Rock now sits is Fort Antonia, that held thousands of troops with its 60-foot walls and overshadows the Temple.

If you compare Sagiv's diagram for the Baalbek temple to the one for the Temple Mount, the obvious conclusion is that the Roman temple was at the site of what is now Al-Aqsa. The equestrian statute of Hadrian could have been in the forecourt. That is to say, where the Dome of the Rock now stands. In Jewish tradition, the rock is Isaiah' s foundation stone. This stone is a metaphor for God's covenant with Israel. There is no good reason to connect it to the Temple foundation stone, which is depicted in scripture as an unremarkable corner stone.

10 minutes in. OK, so they're talking about the dome being 20 meters too high for the aqueduct for original temple. We should keep in mind the temple was destroyed and rebuilt multiple times so the new temples may have just been built on top of the ruins of the old ones just making the temple higher and higher above the original aqueduct.

The Muslim brother in this interview has a job to do. He doesn't care for faith, his own faith. Neither the prophet, nor his companions gave this land attention. In fact, they refused to do so. When caliph Omar, God bless him, was visiting the church of holy sepulchre, as the conquerer, and the time for midday prayer arrived, he was offered the church for praying... He refused saying it may be mistaken that he had converted the church into mosque. Instead, he crossed the street to pray on ground (and then again, they built a mosque naming it Omar's mosque, stands still). Again, he didn't go to the rock.

I raised a red heifer in 2012. Ate her and it was good. In 2014. I really was amazed how pretty a Pure Red Heifer looked. Then black Angus Had a Perfect Red Bull. I think my old Farm is Sacred. And Nobody Died in the name of God. I Don't understand why we must kill each other. Maybe that is the Real problem✝️😇

Michael Sharpe Don’t be a smartass. If you really had any cattle you would know you never butcher a female cow, too valuable, only castrated (so they get fat) bull calves.

It would be a worthy endeavor to educate the Public on the recent history of Israel, and all of it, beginning with the: *◾era current events/now recent histiry and the Balfour Declaration* ◾who managed the planning and reestablishing of the land area, why that was resisted by the Palestinian Peoples - many displaced and losing their property. *(This was an obvious situation of conflict and obviously could have been either avoided all together or "efforted with greater Empathy"*) ◾the entire content of what transpired would most ethically be reviewed with the absence of emotion or religious influence, rather *a clear clinical approach of facts and purpose* The greater world paid for Modern Israel and this is a fact, particularly the USA, and Public of Europe, including Germany. All individuals affected by WWI post the Balfour Declaration. I wonder, if this were actually Publically understood, what ramifications would befall the source of informati9n? *"Facts, just the facts Mam."* Tell the story, Please.

Beth Bartlett This video was about the history of the Temple & the Mosques and religious sensitivities- not about current politics. And not about the “recent history of Israel” according to the Palestinians.

Somebody needs to inform the jews that Jesus already died for our sins so no more sacrifices need made. Jesus was the 2nd Adam. Hence the Messiah walked on earth.

What was Muhammad praying to for a while (which makes it holy for Muslims) was neither the dome, not the mosque. They both didn't exist then. He was probably praying only to an open field with a rock, and he was quiet dismayed by it, too (Quran says he wanted, literally begging to pray towards Kaaba, which God then sanctioned, abandoning the rock). The point, why did later Muslims then built the dome of the rock, centuries later, as well as the Al Aqsa mosque? For centuries, Islam went on without these holy places.
