Can't argue with that, saw them play their first gig as The Hollies back in 1962 at the Oasis club in Manchester when I was 18 and saw them again on numerous occasions at the same club.

A Great group and song I think from 1971, my era😁I'm now 65 and a Musician who was active from 1976 thru the late 1980s, I watch videos on youtube now 😉

"A pair of 45's really opened my eyes. my temperature started to rise!" (He wasn't talking about pistols either)🤣 This was like our anthem when it came out back in the 70's!😄 Years later, I finally learned to play it, and got the sound right on that iconic guitar intro.😉👍👍👍

This song is very much influenced by american gangster films, and in this song the singer is using a slightly americanised accent. They had a lot of great hits. Keep Reacting!

Awesome! There's a song kind of along these lines that the whole reaction set is missing..." Once bitten, Twice shy" by Ian Hunter (NOT WHITESNAKE!) @@dannelson4209They weren't before Creedence, they formed before Creedence, Creedence started in 1968, both groups are from the same era, Creedence disbanded in 1972 when this song came out👍✌️

@@kennyhuskisson2684 They formed before Creedence therefore, they were before Creedence , Creedence didn't play music similar to the Hollies at all.. they couldn't be more opposite.
