He wouldn't show up bc of Terry Sylvester... I'm 99 percent sure (they ended their friendship in a bitter way) . At the end it was better as this because Terry Sylvester was drunk on stage and throwing The Hollies dignity (as a band) to waste

The Hollies are are truly a band's band. Considering their longevity and relevance in each of their membership phases, they more than deserve their induction. Great to see them together in a nice LIVE performance. BeeGees standing O, wow - one of The Hollies' few peers in vocal harmonies. Thank you Sapph for the post.

Tony, Allan and Graham were some of the driving force of the Hollies, in the early and most recognizable history. Tony is still doing a great job of carrying on the band forward. Graham tbh is I will admit opinionated, but he does the narrator thing very well, because, or inspite of his ego. He has been fortunate to have been involved in two brilliant bands, in both the Hollies and CSN/CSN&Y.

Some years back, as a returning to school student at Cypress College (in Orange County, Ca.), I was walking into the library as Graham Nash (who was giving a talk about computer enlarged, wall and building sized portraits in one of the lecture halls, which I later attended) and made brief eye-contact with the man. I was too shy to speak, but I knew, that he knew, I knew who he was. I had thought about what I would have said, had I said it at that time. It would have been just this: "Hollies!!!"

Really disappointed that Terry Sylvester wasn't acknowledged more. In my opinion he and not Nash deserved the award. With respect .I think you might want to read Bobby Elliotts book. Bobby suggests that Allans problem was not that he couldn't sing but the fact that he was alcoholic and had been in and out of Rehab for the problem. The disclosure about his voice going was more in Allans mind due to the booze. It sort of makes sense now as he certainly sounds pretty good on his CD Resurgence now he has his act together. As regards Nash helping him, ......Graham never misses an opportunity , does he :+) ?

@nuipret Thank you, Kev. All is well here. If Tony Hicks had been there, there might not have been a need for Adam and Jesse to be there, but since Tony wasn't able to come, and Allan was not sure he could sing well at all, someone had to be there to provide additional harmonies. I agree about the mike. I don't know who did that, but he'd better hope no one ever finds out his name. Thanks again and take care, too!

Graham Nash is still performing in fact he will be performing here in New Zealand very soon April 2024 he obviously must still have his voice! Unfortunately for Graham he left The Hollies just before arguably their biggest hit 'He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother!' He joined Crosby, Stills Nash (& Young) to go in a different direction, I feel there is no comparison with that song and 'Our House!' but them the breaks!

Thank God Tony and Bobby were on tour. The perfect excuse to not attend this circus where Nash and Clarke as usual thought that all the show were about them.

Maybe not as great as 50 years ago, but he can still sing, there are plenty of videos with CSN showing him singing perfectly fine. Even if they did suck-which they don't-you can see them singing bus-stop without Nobody and Whothefuckisthat on other videos. I would still rather see the authentic band. Brain Wilson for example can't sing 1/8th as well as he did in his heyday but I would still rather see him sing then what is essentially a cover band.

The other two guys you are referring to were actually the vocals you heard. And they did a great job of it. Allan has very little left and his microphone was off and Graham's was really low. I thank these two singers because without them it would have been as embarassing as when Edi Brigati sang at the Rascals induction.

The Hollies were better than the Beatles. FACT! And why the hating on Graham Nash on here? What he said was really humble and heartfelt

Well put amy friend. All this talk abut AC not being able to cut the mustard anymore is laughed at by the people in the know. And the example if Brian Wilson is a good one. He is a shadow of his former self but (like you and i) people still want to see and hear him because he is a true legend. ood posting mate.
