I just wanted to say, thank you to everyone for the support you have given me on this video! This has truly made me so happy and grateful! I have not stopped smiling ear to ear. I wish all of you the best Christmas/ Holidays surrounded by loved ones, all of you have truly made mine! One last update, I have two further videos planned in the coming months, one on the Darkmoon ashes switches by IV Works and a video on the QK60 whenever it arrives. If you enjoyed this video I’m hoping you’ll be interested in those!

Hey! Nice video. I think the issue you had with the o-ring mount is a result of using screw in stabilizers. There’s a lot of o-ring boards out there that the o-ring mount will only work with clip in stabs. Just due to the stabilizers being smaller and giving the o-ring more room to tuck into the gap.
@dill-keebs2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks so much for the reply, I had thought this might have been the case but I’ve never used clip in stabilizers before so I wasn’t sure. I’ll definitely pick some up now and see if that makes a difference! I really appreciate the comment!
@sicositsu2 жыл бұрын
I also had this problem when using stabies, I just ended up shoving the o-ring into the crevice and hoping nothing would break. It’s been like a month with the jane now and it still seems fine.
@z4k1_zaki652 жыл бұрын
Yes this was the issues. Most of the time you'll need clip-in stabilisers to work with an o-ring mount board as they have a smaller housing and no screws!

Bought a TGR 910 Blush Pink on a whim, and was taken aback with how incredible this board sounds. I have a TGR Jane v2 ME, and personally I love the 910's sound profile far more than the Jane. Very surprised, and very happy with this build. This just might be my endgame keyboard, apart from a Singa Unikorn or a fully custom commissioned build.

Been in this hobby for a few years now and I can say if you're looking for a good keyboard, anything custom works. A high end keyboard will not offer much more at this point other than aesthetics, if that has value for you.
@sleepy_teethtv2 жыл бұрын
@@muCephei_ I think the same can be said about PC building. Aesthetics come hand in hand imo. Been building computers for more than a decade and this keyboard hobby seems to resemble that same quality for me to a degree.

@Dillon Pretty confident the O-ring build is only compatible with clip in stabs to allow the o ring to seat flush between plate and PCB, the screw gets in the way of this happening on your stabs.

You should use Clip in stabs such as cherry clip ins or tx stabs(very good btw) so that it doesnt interfere with the gummy o ring. Screw in inteferes with it, therefore unabling u to do gummy o ring mount unless u sand off the stabs to fit the gummy o ring. I like your style of content and your effort in getting the thumbnail. Good luck man

I know right! His style is so cozy! I appreciate the comment, it means a lot! You should definitely give it a go! I use the Sony A6000 with the Sony FE 50mm f/1.8. Pretty much every shot you see if filmed from the other side of the room so it’s hard to recommend for wide angles haha

@@dill-keebs all this beautiful shots only using A6000? Freakin heaven, i thought at least A7III or even BMPCC. You tweak the neutral profile to make it look like LOG right? Or something else? Planning to get a ZVE10 tho. Wish me luck.

Haha the A7III would be the dream, and I’m sorry but the only editing I did was chucking a premiere pro default LUT on, like a filter 😅. I’m really clueless when it comes to most of this haha! Best of luck with the ZVE10, or maybe I’ve convinced you on the A6000 haha!

Pretty unacceptable to me to have parts falling out of a keyboard this expensive.
@z4k1_zaki652 жыл бұрын
It could be the alchohol he used to clean the board causing the adhesive to dissolve out, I might be wrong tho. Good thing that Monokei is handling the issues quite fast, something that is hard to come by in this niche hobby.
@dill-keebs2 жыл бұрын
I can totally see where your coming from, my thought process was that considering the board itself was in perfect condition and the magnets has not yet fallen out it would have passed qc without issues. I checked beforehand and while isopropyl alcohol can technically remove the adhesive I don’t believe the amount I used could have caused a reaction like this. Luckily all was able to be fixed and this seems like a unique case!
