I really like the Taeha Tallks segment. I have quit the hobby months ago but i regularly check up on what's happening and from stream highlights and sound tests to this? I really really love the concept and what you're doing. Actual in depth review of a board from one of the OGs of the hobby is such a delight to watch + the ambiance and aesthetic. Please continue doing this whether you separate the talks part and the board review or join em up i'd gladly watch them both.

Enjoyed the hell out of this video! Your Mode Envoy review was very grounded, detailed & thorough. The ‘Taeha Talks’ piece was a great surprise! Loved the idea of a 1on1 or Q&A with you. A podcast would be such an amazing thing, I think it’s a very popular medium and is something that if set up correctly, would bring on a whole new audience. Whether it’s a variety show where keyboards, photography, music is discussed, or something more focused. I think it would be another way to enjoy your content without having to be live for your streams and in addition to your videos ❤️ overall, can count on my support!

yeah honestly I realized that I probably won't build an actual 200$ plus keyboard until have some good money laying around even then idk because for me I can get everything I want in a 100$ keyboard even hotswap and pre lubed for that price. After seeing how much cheaper it has gotten I just cant see the point of spending that much, I get it but its just not for me. I got a TH80 on prime day for 75$ down from 90$ I know its not all that and that people would probably not even call it custom but its perfect for me, in the future I'm definitely going to be trying out new switches . Also my buddy has GMMK pro with lubed pandas and my keyboard feels very very similar its just missing a slight metal sound and feel.

I like the talking segment. Introducing new music while replying to comments. I'd heavily agree with Marques's tweet. I'm a big gummy o-ring enjoyer and I'd love a Unikorn one day but I just don't fancy paying an artificially inflated 3-4x upcharge on the aftermarket. I think it goes without saying the designers and folks at Singa are also probably very disappointed to see a 400-500 dollar keyboard flip for like 2k, making it very inaccessible to people who actually want the board, vs. people who don't care about the board and just want to squeeze money out of people that do. So lower-end boards taking cues from the high end scene is going to be very important in order to keep making banger products that can do well

It's an exciting time in the keyboard hobby! Folks who dipped their toes in during the pandemic have figured out whether or not it's for them and now we're seeing who will be sticking around, as well as seeing a lot of pandemic era groupbuys being fulfilled. Economically speaking, it's hard to be fully immersed like we were during the days of monetary abundance in the pandemic, but I also think that's a good thing; it makes it so we're more thoughtful or deliberate with how we participate and will allow for diversity in the ways people participate in the hobby.
@bones329 Жыл бұрын
it is funny about this being more budget friendly. I was scrolling through some websites yesterday looking for keyboard cases, parts, etc. I was thinking how is stuff still extremely expensive since the hobby has completely exploded. While I do understand a lot of these are small projects, but it is truly nice to see some brands/companies really try to make a more affordable option that even veterans in the hobby can enjoy.

I really enjoy the looks of my Envoy, but I struggled with liking the whole keyboard for quite a while because the screws really ruined the sound and feel of the board for me. Even just barely threaded on. Alexotos mentioned on his stream that he recommended unscrewing the screws completely, and that's when I finally started enjoying the whole keyboard - looks, sound and feel. So if you are having issues with case ping and an uneven feel specifically around the screws; try removing them. I take my keyboard to-and-from work, so it is a bit annoying to have to unscrew and thread on the screws every time, but it is something I am willing to live with.
