It's really sad, isn't it. Why anyone would disregard Christ for the temporary pleasures of sin is a mystery, yet I understand it because the pull of sin is so real. Praise God that by His grace any of us are saved in the end.

Anyone who knows the Lord reading this please take a moment and pray for my two youngest (Hosannah 5 and Noble 3) children to be brought home to me safely this year and for their abusers to be caught and stopped and prosecuted to the full extent of the law in Jesus Christs holy name.
@jeremiahzeiset3 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to hear about your youngest children, gone. I can't imagine. A word of caution though, just remember in all your prayers and waiting on the Lord, that vengeance is the Lord's. Try to dictate the punishment, and predetermine the results, and you may not get the answer you so much wish for. _Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord._

@@jeremiahzeiset how is asking for prosecution to a crime that is agains the law wanting vengeance??? All righteous laws is of GOD and he expects them to be adminstered. Praying for someone to go to Hell now that's vengeance and out of line with the scriptures.

THE BIBLE SHAKESPEARE, JOHN BUNYAN, AND THE PILGRIMS READ THE GENEVA BIBLE NOT THE KJV.
“The words of the LORD (are) pure words: (as) silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.” ~Psalm 12:6-8 KJV (by David) The Authorized Version (KJV) is a masterpiece of the English language. The Geneva was a lovely forerunner to the KJV. This is a reliable translation from manuscripts (Majority Text) uncorrupted by the Jesuit agents, Westcott & Hort. Unfortunately, many do not KNOW the history of the modern so-called “bibles”.
@jeremiahzeiset8 ай бұрын
@julegateI don't mind the KJV, but personally, there are a few things I think are poorly translated in it. That doesn't mean I don't like it, it's just that I don't think it is the purest either.

There is no such thing as a Holy War! There is only the Reality of Holy Forgiveness and Holy Reconciliation, treating others, be them our enemies or friends, with Love and understanding.
@jeremiahzeiset3 жыл бұрын
Oh, you must not have listened to the book. It doesn't say anything about fighting against people, not at all. Instead, it's talking about the spiritual warfare that we must wage. It is scriptural. _For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places._

@@jeremiahzeiset The early christians and those before them, correctly saw that something within ourselves needed reform or redeeming; but that doesn't mean Jesus came to redeem us from our sins. From the standpoint of God, redemption is not necessary; everyone is already forgiven. The teachings on forgiveness is about forgiving ourselves and others, so that we can move on and not remain stuck in a pain of the past. Jesus did not come to redeem us from the ego! That would required Jesus to annihilate the ego, which is perfectly designed to do what it does. Even if the ego could be annihilated, Jesus would not annihilate what God created. Jesus came to teach us how to redeem ourselves! Jesus came to teach us how to master our own ego and return to Love. In the Bible, the ego is exemplified by Satan; as Satan is said to have tempted Jesus in the desert. The ego, through the voice in our head, tempts us to go against our divine nature; to go against Love. The ego, through the voice in our head, tempts us to act selfishly and short-sightedly to do what is in the ego's self-interest; rather than what is best for the whole to which we are intimately and inextricably connected. When we go against the whole and harm others, we also harm ourselves. Sin is like hitting ourselves, because we also suffer when we cause others to suffer. This is one of our primary lessons! Which is why: do unto others as you would have them do unto you, work so well as a guideline.
@jeremiahzeiset3 жыл бұрын
@@edgarmorales4476 It sounds like good philosophy, yet not scriptural. _"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us - for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree."_ _who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works._
