When you want True Orthodoxy, you go to those who, like the ever-memorable Archbishop Averky, represented Genuine Orthodoxy. There is no substitute for the Truth, and it will always be the minority view.

Fr. bless, wasn't it Archbishop Averky in his book, Struggle for Virtues, that defends the need in our day for the Adjective "Genuine" to be used in line with the use of Orthodox?

God bless! Indeed it was. And Not only was he suggesting this in that place but in many other places. He was not alone in this either. He was one of many who saw the need to distinguish genuine Orthodoxy from the pale shell of world Orthodoxy.

There are some very good bishops. When I say "we" have zealous bishops I am referring to my own bishop and those of our holy Synod.

But if I stay to you after the the so called synod of Crete 2016 where they actually legalises all Hersey as valid would you just sit there and accept it. According to Saint John Chrysomosomes it the duty of the lay people to inspect there bishops if they orthopraxy in the one Holy catholic Apostolic Church Saint Fotios as stated the 15 cannon of the second synod which states it the duty of the lay person to break communion with heretical bishop e.g the partách Bartholomew of Constantinople
