How the hell do you people think these gorgeous cats & their kittens can EVER be ADOPTED from a box on the side walk? They need to be taken off the street and SOCIALISED to start with. Would you go up and pluck a spitting little kitten out of the little house on the side walk? This is what I rail and RANT ABOUT. They NEED to be taken off the street, socialised, desexed early.....to have ANY CHANCE whatsoever....of their lives ever improving or changing. I find his videos too sad & distressing to watch. Nothing ever changes for those poor little animals. Although Robin has access to FREE VET service (desexing etc) services ......he doesn't seem interested in really changing the lives of these cats. At NO COST TO HIM ......simply DESEXING THEM to stop them multiplying. That would go SO FAR in bettering the lives of these little animals, most of whom our fellow human beings abandoned. It is very distressing to see Robin actually standing......VIDEOING VERY YOUNG CATS ......MATING! Why wouldn't he grab them I make sure they are taken to the vet.....remember - FREE OF CHARGE.

Robin did a wonderful job with the new little house for Mumma cat and her 5 gorgeous little babies. But does he not have a friend that would allow the little house to be put in their GARDEN so that little family are no longer on the streets. I am going to have the wrath of many upon my shoulders.......but I see this as Robin "feeding" a problem. Because I work at rescuing cats like this, what I see here are 5 more cats that will be multiplying and adding to the misery of stray cats 'EXISTING' on the street. Those kittens will be multiplying within the next 6 or 8 weeks. The answer? Take mumma and babies off the street.......while she nurses her babies.....and SPAY her ASAP. Then desex the babies ...........they would all have been well-socialised in that 6 wks.......and homes could be found for them all. ie. We then take a prospective 6 cats off the dangerous city streets. Is this all too hard? If this had been happening for the last 6 years......that colony at least would have to have been a little smaller........and we would not see the profusion of vulnerable little kittens running around in awful danger .....eg packs of feral dogs, aggressive male cats (plenty of them not neutered) violent cat fights etc. My God I wish I could take those little babies into my home and spend my days (& nights) socialising them, desexing, and then finding homes for them. I am NOT wealthy, and our vets don't do us many favours, we just don't spend $$ anywhere else. Yes I had 7 cats .......the really timid mistrusting ones don't get homes, do they? So they stay.....and stay......I lost 5 over last 18mnths - all 17+ yrs. Still have our 21yr old black beauty......pawing at me now for food! She has kidney/thyroid issues but doing well with her meds.

Those kittens AND mumma cat are really EXQUISITE, and would get homes instantly. They are so PRETTY. It is therefore a great shame they are being left out on the streets to live a life of danger and misery; when they could be having the wonderful life of being a pampered pet by some very lucky owner. It really is quite tragic, to see such truly GORGEOUS little animals facing all the dangers of a short life spent on the cold streets of a Russian winter. For all of these reasons I find these videos too distressing - I have personally rescued dozens of beautiful little kittens - who were virtually little spitting tigers when we first saw them - then after a couple of weeks of socialising they are beautifully affectionate little things - ready to soon go off to a great forever home. I find I look at all of these precious little babies as potentially in loving homes - and it depresses me. I do not understand how cat lovers can look at them with comments of "cute" or "beautiful" when in fact there is NOTHING cute about a baby kitten living in squaler in a rubbish dump. Just very depressing to someone who spends their life making the lives of animals better.
